Haven't really died much outside of pking, but I remember a few. When I was doing dragon slayer when it first came out, I tried to do it at my local library.. Big mistake as I very quickly found out. It had around 2-3 FPS and as I tried to run from it and click on food, it took so long to happen that it was on me before any of it registered -.- Couldn't get away from it with that lag.. I did it later at home and it was easy without lag.

 

 

 

2nd I remember was barrows. I was fighting dharok(who else -.-) and I get disconnected.. I log back in and I have 1 hp and I see a 0 hit on me clickclickclickclickclickclickclickclick on ectophial, animation starts, loading *phew*.. Then I see a big number on me and I die next to the ectofunctus. That was my most expensive death ever I believe. And it sucked majorly -.-

The most recent time I've died was the worst. Reason why I don't play anymore.

 

I had just finished the smoking kills quest, and was beginning to slay to get points to combine my slayer items. My first task was cave horrors, in which I had just killed several thousand to get a black mask. For some reason I had all my best items on me for melee and range. I was wearing my full armadyl with ranger boots and using a dragon scimitar and rune defender because I was very close to a strength level. I usually switch back to guthans at about 40hp, which never ever have a problem with healing at that high.

 

 

 

I was browsing forums, since killing cave horrors had gotten so boring. In under a minute I hear, dun dun dun dun dun... and I show up in falador with a fury amulet, guthans plate and guthans skirt. I'm guessing I lost a good 35+m in that one death. the 35+m I had spent months gaining. I felt like a pile of [cabbage] for a long time afterwards. Realizing even with the Angel of Death gravemarker, dieing with the ectophile meant there was no way for me to get back to Mos'leharmless.

 

 

 

then immediately cancelled my membership, with the reason that I lost all my valuable items. Then I get a cancellation with some snobby, "are you sure you want to cancell your membership, regaining your valuable items is almost just as rewarding as getting them for the first time." [cabbage].

My own stupidity but:

 

 

 

I was sick to death of bloodvelds being maxed out at the slayer tower, so I decided to slay them at the God Wars Dungeon, I decided to use a zammy book to keep the rest of his followers off of me. Once I got to about 40hp, I decided to heal up using guthans, completely forgetting equipping the spear would make me remove the book! I got swarmed with spiritual mages, werewolves, vampires and soon died.

 

 

 

I managed to get back to the area (with a zammy cape this time!) and just as I was about to reclaim my stuff... BAM! All the servers died, I got logged, and therefore couldn't get my loot. A truly depressing experience.

 

 

 

What did I lose:

 

 

 

Guthan's Warspear, Guthan's Helm, Karil Top and Bottom, Whip, Dragon Boots, Berserker Ring, Barrows Gloves, FIRE CAPE, and a few potions and charms.

 

 

 

That crushed me and I've only just managed to get my bank value back to what it was before that death.

 

Thats so harsh! I thought I was unlucky =(

Lost 700k to a wall beast. Don't ask.

Pretty much only major death was at Zamorak God wars. Somehow I ended up tanking, and got killed by poison. Only team member to die, and take losses as well.

 

 

 

Either that or my first attempt at DK Suiciding. I ended up having all 3 kings on me and getting killed before the mages even got a chance down the ladder.

Lost 22 rune ores back when they were 300k each. Got disconnected and logged back in at lumby.

This was complete stupidity on my part: I had scabarites as a slayer task...didn't take a tinderbox...was fine until I fell through to the real dungeon bit...lantern went out, couldn't relight it or find my way out. Died a slow and painful death.

I forgot my Anti-Shield, as I do not hunt Dragons often. This was my 40th Slayer Task in a row, so I decided to finish it out. I had Antifire Pots, though. I go running into the Iron Dragon part and the first few in line of sight are occupied. So I head east and down south following the cave walls. I get to the south-east most Iron Dragon and there is no one around. I cast Slayer Dart. I get hit hard. I drink antifire. I still get hit pretty hard. Then I realize my Anti-Shield isn't with me. So I haul [wagon]. I run north, hoping to get outside of his range. No good. I start running west, toward the entrance (all I had was Hometele). I get to the entrance where the first Iron Dragon you see when you walk into the area. There is a ranger there, without prayer on killing this one. I take my last hit. I quickly hit this sequence: Enter>G>E>3. I'm in Falador (respawn point). I'm panicking. But I know my Quick Chat message of "Please protect my gravestone" got out before I spawned in Fally. I start to gather recovery gear. I get to Brimhaven and pay the dude to go in, no message about repairs. As soon as I step through the door, I see the message, "Your gravestone has collapsed."

 

 

 

Dude was a total [puncture], and decided not to help me.

My brother walked up behind me and asked "Whatcha doin?" and I told him that I had just bought some awesome addy boots for 40k. I was in burthorpe at the time, heading up to start the troll stronghold quest (I think). Suddenly, I see piles of red splotches on me, and the next thing I know, I'm in lumbridge. Curse you, thrower trolls.

My worst death was not done on my current account, but its predecessor, Ouchy S. I was minding my own business Teleporting at Seers Village. I was mining my own business and some person came up and to me and asked me If i wanted to be her friend. I gladly said yes and she took me to here house and asked if she could train on me. So she started to train on me, which fine. Then she asked me to smith a bar of Limestone :shock: My health was down at 6 and bam. I lost about 2k Law Runes (when they were valued at 300 GP), half of my Full Black Mystic and possibly and Obsidian Cape. Not sure on that however. I quit about a month later.

Getting scammed. Sopme guy told me to go to this place (Mole hill in Fally) for a rich people club. I was a noob at the time.. Anyway, somehow my torch went out and I lost my cannon and some stuff...

i was in the wilderness, saw someone, asked if there were any revs around and suddenly i got hit 19 and frozen. luckily the nice guy repaired my grave for me.

 

 

 

i was taking someone to varrock and they died near the wizard circle, then i repaired their grave, they came back and died again

in monkey madness. i teled when i wasnt ready had to die to get out of there(old school ftw no home tele) but then i saw i had a duel ring(1) in my invent. [bleep] how was i mad.

The first time I got full rune I was so proud of myself then I got PKed and I think I had a heart attack o.O

Recently would have to be going to bounty hunter and forgetting to put protect tiem, Luckily I only had whip this time.

Pretty sure every time I've died has been bad lol

Slightly Off Topic, but I can remember my friend selling a set of Full Rune for 30k when it was valued at 300k. :o

mine would have to be when i was doing fremmy isels or how ever you spell it.I was at the cave where you have to kill the trolls in the big room and me being so smart i rushed into the big pile of them......i didn't see my hp bar just dead. i only lost a glory and 5k in food only time i really died and lost something good.

Going to bandos with 5m+ in cash.
