Before my break from runescape, (i left just after hunting came out), F2P used to be full of people talking and asking for stuff but now its empty and quiet.

Jagex converted them all to members. XD

 

 

 

No but seriously... the classic 'begging' and 'scamming' is long gone now. Most beggars you see now the annoying people who say "cape mote plz!?" And scamming is basically eliminated with f2p only being able to trade 3k at a time.

I guess that most of the people are on holidays since it is Summer \.

Did you search in the right places? i mean, the grand exchange, world 17 bounty hunter...there are so many people talking there that i need to turn my public chat to "hide" :ohnoes:

I think it depends what time you are on. Yesterday i went into F2P on a new account i'd created and it was still the same old runescape :D a billion people were all trying to talk at once.

 

 

 

But maybe as Shahrazad (Love you're name! :lol: ) they've all just gone on holidays :D

i dont notice a difference at all. They are still the same...begging...hanging around one place for gf/bf...annoying others...

some of the f2pers are probably under 13, which means their accounts are quick chat only, which means less talking.

My experience in f2p as of late is limited. I've only been there once in several months, but that one time I went (the day item lending came out), I took my rares out and the only people to say anything to me were a bunch of people saying "nice mask/santa" and this one kid who wanted me to run him all over varrock to do "The Shield of Arrav."

 

 

 

Then I went back to p2p and got spammed with "can I barrow joor rare?" :XD:

F2pers arent poor -.- . Most choose not to buy p2p as they want to get past the skills you can easily train in f2p, eg woodcut/firemaking. Then they get p2p. Also, some arent allowed to buy p2p, and many others dont want to buy p2p, as they've progressed s much in f2p, that it'd be a shame getting p2p and ruining their 100% f2p status.

Everyone in f2p has moved to the ge, clan wars or bh, It's still pretty noisy for me though.

I kinda noticed alot when I came back. I took a break for about a year to start school and when I got back there where like a bundle of new skillz and stuff.

 

 

 

And ofcorse I was a lil surprised by the fact that before i left most of the worlds had over 1000 players and now alot have under 700.

Yea true, my parents didnt allow me to buy members, but then i got my own job and "ruined" my 5+ year 100% f2p account, and I'm having more fun than ever (maybe only a little less than f2p PKing, but that's past)!

It all goes back to RWT. PKers, pures, macroers, goldfarmers, merchanters, scammers, and some beggars quit. Don't say "this is only a few categories of players", because they made up a good part of the F2P community.
