not now... it seems as though f2p worlds r getting emptier and emptier. probably because of the lack of fun activities. taking away real pvp made it boring and grinding skills to make money isnt worth it because u really dont know where to put that money.

Or because more are getting members realizing how much better it is.

I don't think RuneScape will ever get 1 Million people playing simultaneously. They might get 500 thousand, but a million is a bit high.

My relaxation method involves a bottle of lotion, beautiful women, and partial nudity. Yes I get massages.

I don't see it ever happening, as far as I know even WoW doesn't reach 1 million active people at one time.

If any game is going to reach it it would be D3, I can see RuneScape reaching the 200k mark again but nothing more, 250K tops.

I think that it might happen, but that would be far away in the future. I don't think that any of us will see it happen if we don't play until we're like 50 or something like that.

No way. I'll be surprised if it ever reaches a third of that. If we have been seeing an exponential growth pattern, then it would be safe to say that it's definitely possible. But we've been around 200k for a while now and I don't see it changing anytime soon.

I'd be willing to bet money that RuneScape peaked in populary in about 2006-early/mid 2007, with about 250,000+ players online.

It wont rise above that level again unless Jagex does something really surprising to get a new influx of players.

A million players... Never. Like said, it's not even physically possible, Jagex would need to spend money to buy 337 more servers. It wont happen, RS peaked already, it's probably going to stay a steady 80-200k then slowly decline over time as other games become more popular.
