Although I'll still listen to nearly anything by the man, him and his band are musical geniuses. catch it now so you can like it before it went so mainstream

assassin_696
Band: The White Stripes Album: Icky Thump - I liked them before this, but never really "got into them", but I bought this album then went to see them live and I was hooked. In fact it was probably more the live show than anything :P Still favourite?: No, I think their debut album is better, but Icky Thump is still a cracker. warri0r45
Band: Tool. Album: Aenima. Still favourite?: This is hard to answer for me. It would imply there's something about this album which sets it above the rest but I like them all. The thing with Tool is that it's not like they've just regurgitated the same thing 5 albums in a row. There's no real basis for comparison that I'm willing to make because each release is unique and appealing on it's own individual level.

Kalphite
As far as BtBaM goes, I actually think I like Alaska more than Colors, but I've heard that Colors needs a lot of time to grow, and I haven't listened to it much. I'll have to do a couple of these, as I can't decide on my favorite band, it switches a lot between four: Band: Dream theater Album: Images and Words Still favorite: I have a very hard time determining if Images and Words is better than Scenes or not, so it's tied. Band: Opeth Album: Deliverance Still favorite: No, Blackwater Park blows it out of the water, as well as Ghost Reveries. It is a great album, though. Band: Pain of Salvation Album: The Perfect Element Still Favorite: No, I prefer Remedy Lane. Band: Porcupine tree Album: In Absentia Still favorite: Definitely, though their other albums are amazing as well.
