rangeor
I hope your father gets better LB. It sounds like he's been though a lot lately. And not cool man, I had an awesome idea for a Resistance tag today but then you got this awesome tag so now I can't make it because two Muse tags would be too much  Or would it? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm! *considers Muse theme for SOTW*
deathdrow
I got my computer back today, I have to completely rebuild my account and everything from scratch, plus there's a goddamn crack right in the middle of the screen. I'm really frustrated with this god damn computer. I think I'll just buy myself a new one soon. Once I get a job that is. All my goddamn applications need to update, and I've got new applications I need to install, that I used to have, and goddamit. ): I started school today, it wasn''t bad, wasn't great either, I remembered why I hate school so much, I really wasn't used to being around so many people, and I nearly had a panic attack in the middle of the hallway. :wall: At least I have good teachers this year. For the most part at least. My science course is doing twice the work of the normal course, and six times the work of the applied course. Hope your dad gets better littleboy. PoorLepRecon
How big is your Tafe? That makes me think, it would be funny to find out someone I know is a TIFer. I always thought that would be cool, just find out some dude you've known frequented a forums you visited. I've actually been probably close, or at least in the same area, as some people on TIF -- like I know this summer I was close to a friend of Dizzles I think in D.C. It would be pretty cool. I'm pretty sure I was close to N_odie and Promise this summer when I visited Hawaii. I'm not sure which islands they are on, but I visited the major 3 so I was probably near them at one point. I'm pretty close to Lenin, and anyone else in the D.C. area. I haven't met anyone yet though, at least not that I know of :-s I've been watching a lot of live videos of Muse playing The Groove, to get ideas of how to move so I don't look like an idiot while I'm playing it. In front of over 80 people. With a lot of cute girls there. And over ten bands from my school that will judge me. :(
champion
I got back from my 3-day band camp at a lake about an hour away from school. The camp was awesome. We didn't play that much, and that wasn't really fun part, but we got to kayak and swim and stuff, and our teacher (who is the coolest teacher I've ever had) made a massive slip n' slide with a huge thing of tarp, 3 hoses, and about 20 bottles of baby shampoo. But some of the people in my cabin were idiots and would pointlessly argue with each other at 1 in the morning ("QUIT BEIN' A DOUCHEBAG!" "I'M NOT, YOU ARE, [bleep] YOU MAN.") And some guy from another cabin bought 13 2-liters of soda. I think he and his friends blew them up or them or something.

Furah
I returned from Bristol with my family from my father's spine operation, after he was finally discharged due to some post-operative complications. We get back and we're only been back for 2 hours when my mother calls the ambulance because my father is in pain. Now he's off to a nearer hospital where he'll probably be for a few days again... If I could I'd give you a hug, I hope your dad comes out fine. Should tell my dad about this, he needs to stop complaining about his back. Furah
Met Dark Aura about an hour ago, he's pretty cool. Took him a moment to get what I meant when I said Hot Young Teachers when he walked past me. He olny had a 30 min break though, so we will get to talk more tomorrow as we will both have an hour long break at 12. I have an extra 30 min wait for my train due to trackwork, it's the only service affected by the trackwork too. >_< P.S. Dark Aura, bring a flashdrive/portable HDD tomorrow, I can't use normal bluetooth transfer until the iBlutooth app is 3GS compatible. Lenticular_J
I'm aight with my school. It sucks, but the little things can keep ya going. (Freshman) Girls discovering how useful push-up bras are, for example. But a little tip, ladies: a little goes a long ways. I had a lot of homework today. I got home at 4:30, Got started on it all at 6:30, just finished it at 10. I have no idea how I'm gonna work on top of this all, but I guess I have to if I want insurance and gas for my car next year :? catch it now so you can like it before it went so mainstream

(Freshman) Girls discovering how useful push-up bras are, for example. But a little tip, ladies: a little goes a long ways. Didn't you say your school has one of the highest STD rates in the country? Are you sure you want to be shopping around for girls that go to your school? Also blocked scheduling is great for homework. I only have 4 classes a day and one of them is band so that means only 3 classes with homework!

Riku3220
School's going to suck, my friend group got split up :( We have these things called teams, basically you don't interact with anyone who isn't on your team. There are 3 and like 1/3 of my friends aren't on my team, plus the girl I've been obsessing over isn't either. :wall: The last time I had "teams" was in 7th grade, and even then we still got lunch and recess together. Are you in high school?
Lenticular_J
Wow, your school sounds stupid. About the only thing you'll use after high school is going to be the social skills you're supposed to gain. However, more and more people are either being forced to devote every waking second to studying, and some just blow everything off. Neither extreme is good. Bad juju with the teams thing, though. Real stupid. Guess you have to make some new friends, though. 40 Oz to Freedom (a pretty good Sublime tribute band) is coming to a bar here at the end of September. I'm trying to see how I can go, because it's gonna be a popular show. I'm probably gonna be able to get tickets to the Tech-A&M game for 10 bucks a pop, too  Still debatable on whether I should keep them for myself or sell them, though. I could easily get 300 bucks each for them the week before the game, and then buy a whole bunch of tickets for a game like New Mexico or Rice. But, hey, you only live like thirteen times. catch it now so you can like it before it went so mainstream

The middle school system really needs to be reworked in my district.... School was easy, cross country even easier. Tomorrow we have a workday on the running course we are building around our school. Are you in high school? Waaaaaaaait you had recess in 7th grade? We had teams in middle school, I guess they were to make it easier for the teachers, and to help people make new friends or something. I moved my stuff back upstairs into my room today, I was sleeping downstairs for most of the summer due to the heat and lack of AC in my room. My sister is also officially off to college, though she gets a break next weekend and lives like 6 miles away. She also got to see Explosions in the Sky. :x Otherwise, I have to fix up my schedule tomorrow. Fun, fun, fun. At least I still have a week left before classes actually start.
