I wasn't expecting to end up at a club last night, but I thought I'd try anyway. The guy turned me away, then turns to talk to somebody and I slipped through. None of the other bouncers at the door noticed somehow.Then it was simply a game of 'stay away from the bouncers walking around with torches,' which got harder as people started going home.

My mom just found out I have a 21% in my creative writing class and [bleep]ed me out insanely. She blamed a lot of it on me being on the computer so much, so you might be seeing less of me for a while. A lot less if she actually follows through.

How'd you manage a 21%? I mean I've straight up not gone to classes except a couple times and gotten better off than that.

Got a job at a call center today. I work for a company which handles calls to Verizon. I get to go through 7 weeks of training :). Bonkers/ Mr. Sam, you work at a call center right? Perhaps we could talk in a pm later?

@Bballer, sure haha. I mean, I work in at an answering service. There are three types of call centers generally.

 

 

Telemarketing

 

Answering Service

 

Support (for specific business, whether its giving support to customers, or calling out work tickets)

 

 

 

Or, Call Center. Which is more accurately what I do. for example, I answer for the Cambridge college switchboard (so if you call up Cambridge you may talk to me o.O ), but I also answer for over 95 hotels and inns across the country, so I can reserve rooms etc. But I also take messages for basic offices, so we're all purpose.

 

 

I'm not sure how Verizon will be, I know people who call from store call centers sound tired as [bleep]. The worse ones are from a company Zenith Noc, that measures server status across the US. They always call, from India, with impossible to spell names, and rush out a message and hang up, they refuse to spell their names, or give a phone number, or even to repeat the message. Like they say "sorry Sir, not worth my time. have a great day. -click- " bah@!
