September 10, 200916 yr DAMMIT. 90% sure I can't make it to SXSW 2010. I have the money to make it, especially if some friends went (more specifically, 3 others. My best friend and two girls would be great, but 4 guys would probably be more likely :P) and we split costs. But I don't have any friends that I'd want to do it with that would have that money. September 11, 200916 yr As today was my day off, I finally started watching something a guy from work gave me. 8 hours of Dogtown, of which I have watched about an hour. It's kind of sad seeing those dogs. Of course, it doesn't help that the first episode I saw was about Michael Vick's dog-fighting ring.

September 11, 200916 yr Today. I had a teamwork activity in self development. My other teammates couldn't get a beam balancing activity right until me and my partner went (I had an idea to split us up into groups of two because about every freakin' activity was easier like that). That makes me feel a little better. Need to start on my homework and do the dishes. Downloaded the firefox personas upgrade. September 11, 200916 yr All my teachers says its important though, and I partially agree with them. The more you do something the easier it becomes and the less nervous you are about it. You gotta detach yourself from emotions, be above them. All I do when I get super emotional is think: "so, this is anger" (or loneliness or nervousness or love). I acknowledge the feeling, make a mental note of how it feels, and go back to normal. This only works when I'm emotional to an extreme (like you are right now) and doesn't work for little things (I will stay a bit nervous if I'm on a bus, late for class). Today I destroyed the annoying guy in my class at squash. Usually I intentionally give people 5-7 points not to make them feel bad (girls even more), but I skunked the guy 15-0. I beat him so fast the people waiting for our court were grinning when I exited, what a satisfying moment. Everyone sorta gave me the "good job" look.
