TGOP/RC Guild general discussion

So what overall do you think about the new mini-game? What is your favorite team? What's your favorite reward? What's your favorite...the list goes on.

 

 

 

Personally, I am sorta indifferent about the mini-game. It is both SUPER annoying, but also fun. The part that makes it annoying is that the teams can often be unfair, manuevering your orb around obsticles, running around like a madman, and the occasional glitch make it sorta repetative and can get boring quick. But on the other hand the challenge is what makes it fun :.

 

 

 

My favorite team to join is the Green team, because cabbage is green and yellow is always to crowded.

 

 

 

My least favorite altar/arena is the Earth altar, the orbs are far out and behind walls and obsticles, very annoying. -.-

 

 

 

I am currently trying to get the Staff (forget what it's full name is), then I'll move on to the robes.

 

 

 

Just sitting here I thought of a way that you can RC rather effectively using the guild, but it takes ALOT of tickets. Ok, so this was probably already thought of but oh well, So you get lots of your desired rune's teleportation tablet as well as lots of RC Guild tele tablets, then you get a load of Rune essence from the rewards section aswell. Then tele to your desired rune altar, craft the essence, and then tele tablet back to the RC guild. Rinse and repeat.

 

 

 

Anyways, I have also noticed an essential thing that the guild is lacking, and something it should most likely have IMO. A rune shop ;)! But whatever, I'm not complaining, I'm F2P so I should be greatful to have this at all.

 

 

 

Overall though, the Runecrafting guild is cool, nice job Jagex! :thumbsup:

It is way too easy. This other guy and I won 16 strait rounds as green team versus then 6 yellow team. We would win by like 5 points each time. The runecrafting guild was poorly thought out. 50 RC is too low also. I mean 60 is appropriate. You can get 50+ in one or two days just buy making tally's into tiara's. It is not the cheapest, but it works.

It sounds confusing at the moment (probably cuz I just skimmed over the whole thing), but I'm sure the guild will be of some use once I reach 50 RC. Anyways the Mingame annoys me because I usually get paired with freeloaders or people (on our team :x) who decide to be a jerk and use the repel wand on our orbs :x -.- :evil:

 

The Guild is Pretty nice though and all the Flashy Machinery is fun \

I personally like it, except it gets REALLY boring after a while (the incompetance of my team really got to me tbh, idk how many times i said "off" when i was getting an orb... [very loud voice] we dont need more than 2 people on an orb people!!![/very loud voice] -.-

I think it was a nice minigame and not even close to the worst they have made.

 

The rewards are pretty cool. I love my omni staff. :lol:

Personally, I love it. I even wrote a guide on it :o (siggy)

 

The Tabs for Runecrafting are amazing, and If I wanted I could have bought every robe set already, but after testing out the tabs for runecrafting alters, they are way to amazing to pass up.

one of few minigames i like. i always chose yellow as i got tired of me soloing vs. 5 ppl on the green team when my teammates left. i have the full blue set. rather wish i didnt get it but w/e. i am currently stocking up on cosmic and law tabs to get me up many rc levels(138 cosmic 74 law so far) and i bought 1k ess. i hate the people sometimes though they get on my nerves. oh and yea the inviso wall in the chaos alter that happens sometimes...when my portal spawns on the wrong side of that :wall: and laging out in the nature alter 3 times in a row and ech time having one all rounds :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall:

Just had some noob say "lets just quit, just to spite them, they wont get any tokens" :wall: tried telling him we get tokens, he doesnt, and lo and behold, i'm called an idiot -.- (i was on green team, 4 y vs 2 green, we we're owning them, so when this happened, it was 2 on 2 :thumbsup: )

I've played the game once so far and enjoyed it hugely. : At first I didn't know how to use the wands, but eventually I got the hang of it. It's good practice for those trying to learn how to safe spot as well if anyone stuck on that although the point of this would be to NOT find the safe spot lol.

 

 

 

I think I'm going to aim for the Staff. The robes I'm not too big on mostly because I don't have the bank space. >.< Although I really would love a set of those blue robes... Maybe I can just wear them all the time hahaha... Maybe...

 

 

 

I really should get back to fishing... @.@ But I wanna play with the new updates first lol.

i just rejoined RS literally yesterday after about a 18-month or so break and this is a pleasant suprise. Not only do I love runecrafting, but I've always been F2P so i can't wait to test out my first mini-game. lolz --> excitement \

Not sure if it was worth it buying the staff. That's hundreds of tabs/pure essence passed up, but eh... At least I enjoyed getting it.

Earlier yesterday I thought it was great, however now I think it is probably the most poorly balanced excuse for a minigame Jagex has ever released.

 

 

 

For a start, green team gets way less orbs making it much harder to win. Because of this, all the level 100+ players go to the yellow team which makes it completely impossible for green to win. Of course, it's not possible to see how balanced the team is until you enter the game and see it's 5v3 and then if you leave you are punished by having to wait ages to join again.

 

 

 

Good rewards, but there isn't any point having good rewards when it's totally impossible to even get a draw.

havent tried it so hard togive a opinion ;)

 

but it looks lame and the rewards are quite useless -.-

 

(teletabs are ok but in the time it takes to get them you could have done several runs lol)
