The intro cinematic alone makes me want to buy Fable III :P

It's...alright. Although it wasn't the best seeing it from a recorded video. I hope some good action happens in this story. Fable 2 story sucked.

I'm hoping for a final boss fight which isn't "Lol, 1 shot kill everytime"

Anyway, noticed Fable II Platinum Edition on sale for $20 yesterday. Came with the two DLC with it so I thought it was a great buy. Finished the "glimpse of the future" one, and am glad I did. I always wondered what Theresa did with her wish. I guess now she really is a fortune teller. No really new weapons (except for that royal scepter thingy that isn't that great) kind of disappointed me. The Diachi and The Rammer still beat everything else. Oh well.

EDIT: Just got Hal's rifle. I was lol'ing quite a bit.

And I reeeeeeeeeally hope they work on the running aspect in Fable III. Running in Fable II is just way too floaty. You can be looking one direction and be running in another.

 

P.S. How the heck do you open that chest in the Guild Room place (in Bower Lake)?

I'll wait for reviews, since Fable II disappointed me a lot, especially when I loved Fable. The story in 2 was bad. The spells and selecting spells in Fable was awesome I thought, in Fable 2 it was just.. :blink: and someone already talked about the dying and getting only scars.

Nah, to me it looks like the lighting is probably 3x as good, and models slightly better. Still most games make their trailers look better, good way to get people attracted to the game.

 

About the trailer, I loved Logan's face, looking at the battle with confidence and arrogance. His downfall will be great. I hope for a real battle against him this time, as he is of the hero bloodline as well. If we actually participate in a battle that big, and fight Logan 1v1 in some epic fight, I will love this game for a fairly long time.

You can get Fable 2 for free by the way. Xbox support and Major Nelson say it's the Episode 1 version but it's not. You can get achievements and get past Episode 1.

If you've downloaded Episode 1 (Or any maybe) It won't work until you delete them from your hard drive. I think they just overwrote episode 1 with the full game, which is causing this issue.

I already have Fable 2, so no need for me to download.

I managed to watch it all, only watched half of it earlier. From what I can tell, your dog is the same. A lot better through, interacting with it is a lot nicer, and it actually kills stuff. (Well when they are down on the ground, but in Fable 2 even with level 5 war dog it barely attacked, it went for the kill almost all the times they landed.)

Played a bit at a friends house. Choices seem to feel fairly more consequential compared to Fable II. One before you begin your "quest" in particular.

 

EDIT: Not out yet, friend got his copy early it seems. Tomorrow is the day!

Just got this today. So far it's pretty good.
