Jagex announces the most challenging quest to date.

I honestly hope this 150th quest is Mourning's Ends Part III, because by the time they release it, it will have been OVER 3 YEARS since MEP2! They need it, and SOON.

Prifddinas might not seem that big, but opening the city could be as big a game changer as the addition of GWD or bigger.

I think it will be about the gods or something. I think the ge trapdoor is not really somewhere for a quest I mean maybe a little one thats 1 hour long but not a giant quest. So I think it will be:

The Gods

The North

War of the race (goblins vs vikings vs humans etc)

End of RuneScape??? (who knows lol)

Possibly the end of the knight fighting the dragon in Learning the Ropes(Dragon slayer 2)

New skill? (sailing would be a good skill for a quest but I'm not sure)

MP3 (we REALLY need this)

Lol I could find more but im tired.

has nobody remembered wat the old gnome said at the ends of the path to glough (sp?) if wat he discribed was 1 quest then it wud be huge, hard and epic. possible lots of mini quests like rfd were you have to help every one involve to get ready for the final fight. not only that its vague(sp?) enuf to involve alot of different things but i doubt its gona combine lots of different storyline maybe just 1 or 2 but no more. and to make it more epic it probually wont involve much of the stuff we already no as it wud b more epic if it made us realise how little we really no.

We'll probaly get to go into Menaphos

Doomy edit: I like sheep

It will probably be a quest which involves:

I'm almost certain it's about Stone of Jas.

What IS the Stone of Jas?

If I remember right it was talked about in depth in the Meeting History quest. Its the stone from which all runecrafting altars came from.

Thanks. :D

Come to my Clan chat (I'm there if I'm online) if you wish to borrow a Green H'ween mask, Blue H'ween Mask, Red H'ween Mask, or Santa for a reasonable price.

this quest sounds cool.

Maybe

i wonder if the reqirments will be

all 90s

If the quest is good, I could seriously consider coming out of retirement.

Yayyyyyy...

I am more interested in the reward than anything else. The reward for Rfd was gloves for each type of medal there is. We have that for almost every other equitment spot. One that we dont is capes, though. But I really cant see how medal capes would be usefull for anything... you are almost always attacked from the front. so maybe amulets? i dout it, since we already have enchanted gem ones for nearly everything. SO this leaves only rings... which are the same as ammys... so yea I really have no idea what the reward is gona be, lol.

I really hope the requirement are high though, like at least a lvl 80 or two.

I'll take a guess that it's going to be a "dragon slayer 2" kind of thing. On their Jagex website they have leaked the artwork for the dragon platebody. We're up to mithril dragons currently, so maybe you have to slay an adamant dragon to complete the quest? Currently there are some stairs you cannot climb where the mithril dragons are, perhaps a small part of the quest will be getting past these stairs?

Or, of course I could be completely wrong (I probably am) Jagex seem to be laying so many possible trails its hard to follow- or maybe I'm just being paranoid. :)

Jagex shouldn't have a level req of a skill over 75 for this quest tbh.

I can't see the reward being huge though.

Doomy edit: I like sheep

Usually quests have given a certain combat type an advantage. In RSC there weren't any dhide bodies, which could benefit rangers and such. Also about d scimmys, d longs, d daggers, many of the dragon weapons have been made useable by quests. I'm hoping that Jagex could release a quest where are multiple rewards to select, e.g. if you like to range, you'll get a new type of crossbow, or mages get some new spell or smth.

...on my way to a Def 1 Hybrid.. for the 2nd time - Wow !

So noone has mentioned Monkey Madness 2, im quite shocked :x

Anyway in my humble opinion it will be a huge quest that will have several mini quests that will all be sequals to existing quests kinda of like RFD did.

Monkey Madness 2 is already out. It's called RFD: Saving Awowogei.

Goals: Quest cape, skill range 10 or less, all stats above 60. (Although yes, I am aware that in order to do the first two, I have to do the third.)

I am sick and tired of people asking me to put stuff in my signature. If you agree with me, do NOT put this in your signature.

Monkey Madness 2 is not out. That only has to do with Saving Awowogei. Where are all the gnomes if it is MM2?

Still hoping for a multi race quest.

But, if The Stone of Jas is related to the Tears of Guthix, its most likely its going to be a goblin quest? :(

Dragon plate time?

Not content with updating one skill this month, we've decided to reignite Firemaking too. In Varrock, King Roald has become increasingly wary of the evil eyes casting greedy looks at his city, so he'll be taking precautions: fourteen warning beacons, running from the River Salve to the western end of the Wilderness. The problem is, no one will be available to test them out, so - surprise, surprise - you'll become the most suitable candidate.

So begins All Fired Up, a sizzling new quest that acts as a simple and very short tutorial for beacon lighting. What can you do with large cauldrons full of sticks, you may ask? Well, your task, if you should choose to accept it, will be to light as many as possible at one time, offering you an entertaining and alternative method for training your Firemaking - oh, and the rewards will make you the toast of firemakers everywhere...

I am a llama freek!!!!!

Hope there is a nice quest point req although. 225 quest points seems like it. It depends on how many quest points they are, how many was there when RFD was out? 200?

Pretty certain it is 176...

175 :)

I see you are all busy making a list. I have been nosing around runescape for things unexplained. I got these things. The sheep with penguins under it in lumbrige. In the grand exchange, there are two things. The trapdoor may give us a new dungeon, I hope, or some sort of new city or minigame even. Possibly underground access to all of runescape. Then there is an X on one tile of the grand exchange floor closest to the large bank in varrock. That is all I know. I have a feeling you might need to charm people in the quest so maybe add the ring of charos and its corresponding quests for the list.
