Earbuds

I have these earbuds. I've had them since February and they still work great, they're really comfortable in my ears and probably won't fall out unless you grease your ears or something ;)

Nevermind... Don't get them. Mine just broke after only 7 months :(

I go through a pair of headphones a month and your complaining over 7? Oo

Whoa really? My apple ones had lasted like 9 months before I got the ones that just broke. And it's not like I used them occasionally, my iPod got use almost every day.

My iPod buds lasted about 6 months, and most of the earbuds I use last 6 months. And I mean real heavy, falling asleep with them on, tangled up in my pocket, step on them, sit on them, drop them in the toilet usage. I've seriously dropped them in the toilet once or twice. I don't even buy expensive ones, I buy the cheapo $15 ones.

I do want to go to some headphone/music specialty store and see what the difference really is between the headphones I use now and a good quality pair.

There's no such thing as regret. A regret means you are unhappy with the person you are now,

and if you're unhappy with the person you are, you change yourself. That

regret will no longer be a regret, because it will help to form the new,

better you. So really, a regret isn't a regret.

It's experience.

About this, I just lost ALL my earbuds for my Sony Ericsson phone. Now I have odd-sized pairs which is, well, odd. I heard Proporta was giving some out for free but not only is the stock gone they have it in a different colour.

Here's a relatively good pair of headphones.

I use Sennheiser myself, though.

I think you missed the entire "earbuds" part of the thread, lol. One of my main points was that I wanted earbuds, not headphones.

And skullkandy does not work for me. They fall out of my ears. Anyway..

It looks like Sennheisers are very popular.

Maybe I'll go for a pair of these

I have a set of Sennheiser 595's, and honestly they're spectacular. When watching movies on my 42", I'll actually use my headphones since they're extremely comfortable and the sound quality is absolutely amazing. They're also great hardcore gaming and music headphones.

Disadvantage: They're $300+ go figure.

That would be why I'm buying the $25 earbuds ;) :D

I've had a horrible experience with standard earbuds (they either fall out, or completely suck in the sound department), so I'd suggest going with in-ear headphones.

This is the one I had for about a year (The cord broke) http://www.amazon.com/Shure-E2c-Sound-I ... 605&sr=8-1 and they were really good.

What I have now is something similar to this http://www.amazon.com/Skullcandy-Full-M ... 840&sr=1-3, I can say that they do the job as well.

If you are really big on bass tho, I would suggest going with full size headphones.

http://www.amazon.com/Sony-MDR-V700DJ-S ... 069&sr=8-1

These cost a lot, but they offer a lot richer sound than any of the earbuds.

Well today I went to the store and bought a pair of these:

http://www.sennheiserusa.com/newsite/pr ... sid=500830

AMAZING. The music quality for my computer sucks (and iTunes isn't too great either), and always has this annoying background scratchy noise when music is [or has recently been] playing, but using my iPod Nano, which is a little better, the music sounds incredible. When people talk to me, I literally have no idea what they are saying. I just see their lips moving, and no sound comming out. And the bass is so incredible. A million times better than the apple ear buds, and it actually feels powerful. And these are the cheapest earbuds they make. (Btw, listening to music that is at 256kbps helps.. a lot. Underoath ftw.)

I had a really bassy pair and people sitting next to me could hear it, even at lower levels, was cool and aweful at the same time because some people didn't like my taste in music and decided to mock me

I hate it when people feel compelled to harass others when it comes to musical taste. Who's to say what music is good and what isn't? A well rounded taste in music is good to have..

Never really had any harassment due to my musical preferences. I seem to have tolerant friends.

Also, good choice on the earbuds. :]

I don't understand how you guys can stand wearing earbuds. They start to make my ears ache after 15 minutes or so, the sound quality is normally pretty bad. I prefer small, compact non-earbud headphones like Sennheiser PX200's, which are very comfortable and fold up small enough to fit in my pocket (they're cheap too, less than $100 or so).
