It took me 2k+ to get my rune def then another 200-400 to get another one after I died with the first. I don't know if wearing a ring of wealth helps but i got my defenders really fast. I think it averages around 200-300 tokens/defender (you need 8 defenders for your first rune defender).. First they came to fishingand I didn't speak out because I wasn't fishing Then they came to the yewsand I didn't speak out because I didn't cut yews Then they came for the oresand I didn't speak out because I didn't collect ores Then they came for meand there was no one left to speak out for me.
