Seeing as the most effective way to kill the new monster is by using ruby(e) bolts, now could be the time to invest in a lot of ruby gems.

Why are you talking about the shield when this thread is talking about rubies...? The beast is being killed a lot by people using ruby bolts (e) to hit 100s with their specs frequently. Lots of people hunt it because of the really expensive drops. Why would the use and cost/availiability of the shields people wear affect them using ruby bolts to hunt the beast?? :wall:

 

 

 

Anywho , On topic, it's not actually the best method, my mate's found an easier way involving certain vunerabilities to the beast so when these are known to the wider public people will start using less Ruby bolts. However in the short term maybe a small investment would be worthwhile lol.

BTW: Ruby (e)'s are taking forever to buy at max in GE.

They've barely gone up by 8gp, the bolts. I don't think they'll be skyrocketing, but it might be a good minor investment.

 

 

 

Personally, I bought 3 zamorakian spears today.

They really wont go up enough to make a huge profit.

Doubt it, its not like theyve never had a use before this, theyre used quite frequently by a lot of people, theres been a market for them since theyve came out.

ruby bolt (e) have always been used for the godwars bosses, should not be much worse than before. personally a ruby bolt (e) is still gonna be alot more effective than a zamorak spear using stab, it wont affect your max hit just how often you hit it.

I made all my rubies into bolts, enchanted, and sold them for a disappointing 160k. They did sell right away, at max though.. I just thought they'd get me some more money..

It's a good time to sell rubys now, but I don't think you will be able to make any fantastic amounts of money by merchanting or selling your own rubys. Sure you can make some money off it though.

It's impossible to acquire any ruby es over GE right now. You can make a small profit fletching them yourself, though. -Trains fletch-

Ruby bolts are not even close to the best way to kill the corporeal beast. Use STAB weapons. It's its weakness: check out this vid if you don't believe me!

I think it's too late to buy rubies now, better methods are emerging and eventually one or two methods will come out on top.

Well not Everybody is hunting the Corporal Beast so Majority of Players won't Buy them. Only Monster Hunters so don't expect like a 500 GP rise on it.

By buying rubies you do realize you are contributing to the demand for them correct? In other words an increase in demand can only lead to higher prices. Why not?

But when People buy Rubies for their Purpous they get used up and they need to buy more, but If you buy Rubies and keep them and don't use it for it's purpous you probably won't buy more and the Price won't rise that much. You'd Probably sell on the first sign of a drop and that will make the prices change.
