Well it's a good thing I saved the photo to my computer and printed it out. I checked my t-mobile account just 5 minutes ago and he took the pictures off. So he's still actively using the phone, hopefully he will screw up and make some calls so the police can trace them and bring people in for questioning.

Not true. Due to so-called "stand your ground" and "castle doctrine" laws on the books in all 50 states, if someone threatens you with a deadly weapon, you are completely within the law to use deadly force to stop them, be that by shooting them, stabbing them or otherwise beating the crap out of them. These laws have very few exceptions. As for carrying a concealed weapon, after a short safety class and some paperwork you can get a license to carry a gun or knife in 48 states, the two exceptions being Illinois and Minnesota if I remember right.

There was a fight and some criminal damage done at a house party I was at once, and one of the party goers phoned the police. When they arrived and asked for descriptions of the main offenders a girl shouted out, "I've got them on Bebo!", and printed out pictures of all of them. I thought it was hilarious.
