So he's still actively using the phone, hopefully he will screw up and make some calls so the police can trace them and bring people in for questioning.

Due to so-called "stand your ground" and "castle doctrine" laws on the books in all 50 states, if someone threatens you with a deadly weapon, you are completely within the law to use deadly force to stop them, be that by shooting them, stabbing them or otherwise beating the crap out of them. These laws have very few exceptions. As for carrying a concealed weapon, after a short safety class and some paperwork you can get a license to carry a gun or knife in 48 states, the two exceptions being Illinois and Minnesota if I remember right. carry a gun around not a bad Idea. OP, if you are either 21 or 18 (depending on your state) and the neighborhood is really that bad, perhaps you should apply for a concealed gun permit. nice, hope he gets a fine or an ASBO :roll: A fine? There was a fight and some criminal damage done at a house party I was at once, and one of the party goers phoned the police. When they arrived and asked for descriptions of the main offenders a girl shouted out, "I've got them on Bebo!", and printed out pictures of all of them. I thought it was hilarious.
