October 12, 200817 yr Lately, I've been thinking, specifically about the users that have been here for a long time, that everyone know, or that know everyone. Basically the users that have seen Tip.It or Off Topic change, or go through different times. There are quite a few of you out there, and I don't necessarily mean users with a high post count. But when I thought about it, a browser-based game forum with quite a few younger users (Below 13 or so) doesn't seem to really fit those who have been here for a long time, and they have probably left RS a long time ago or even detest it now. But you're still here in the Off-Topic boards, and don't get me wrong, we're glad you are, but I'm wondering, what is it about Forum.Tip.It that keeps you coming back and posting? It has been quite a few times that the discussions here have gotten kind of out of hand or immature, and I know that it has kind of pissed some of the older users off. But you're still here.
October 12, 200817 yr Im a no lifer, and I'd rather have a mature conversation with you lot, who are most likely older than me, rather than talk to a dimwit my age who only thinks of boobies. I love this sig.
October 12, 200817 yr Something to read. Know lots of people throughout different parts of the boards & irc. Moderating them.
October 12, 200817 yr Interesting topics in Offtopic, also the ability to talk with people my age about common problems without fear of flame war or "HUR HUR YOU ARE/DO/HAVE ... xyz!!!2!". Mostly. ^ my book :^_^: I don't play anymore, but I'm grateful I played through the best RS times!
October 12, 200817 yr Helps with my procrastination of work. Why didn't you do your homework?Oh,I was building a social life! October 12, 200817 yr I just love being part of the forum, knowing everyone and helping to keep it tidy.
October 12, 200817 yr I just like discussing stuff with the forum. I can't exactly have mature discussions with most of my friends, because either they make an extremely crude joke about it, or are too busy staring at the girl's butt across the room.
October 12, 200817 yr I'm a teen and have only been here since late 2006 I think it was. So almost 2 years. Not a veteran yet, but definitely have seen a lot on tif in my time. Quit members a while ago, play on f2p on the weekends when I'm bored, and my favorite forum is OT. Why? as ididnotlol said, it's easier to have a mature discussion. I can't tell you how much I've learned about global events since coming here. It's an awesome place to be. [hide=]tip it would pay me $500.00 to keep my clothes ON :( :lol:But then again, you fail to realize that 101% of the people in this universe hate you. Yes, humankind's hatred against you goes beyond mathematical possibilities. That tears it. I'm starting an animal rebellion using my mind powers. Those PETA bastards will never see it coming until the porcupines are half way up their asses.[/hide]Apparently a lot of people say it. I own. http://linkagg.com/ Not my site, but a simple, budding site that links often unheard-of websites that are amazing for usefulness and fun.
October 12, 200817 yr Author I just like discussing stuff with the forum. I can't exactly have mature discussions with most of my friends, because either they make an extremely crude joke about it, or are too busy staring at the girl's butt across the room. Indeed, I know what you mean. :uhh:
October 12, 200817 yr It's not perfect here, but I wouldn't really expect it to be. Sometimes there's a drop in good posts or topics, but every now and then there might be something interesting to post in. I suppose the real reason I keep coming back is the people, though. There are some pretty decent people here.
October 12, 200817 yr Helps with my procrastination of work. Why didn't you do your homework?Oh,I was building a social life! Because my parents want me to make more friends. Damn, we Singaporeans are really alike... Edit: Oh hey, I just realized I'm about to be 1 year old on the TIF so I'm not at liberty to post on this thread... :( 00:00:0500:00:0400:00:0300:00:0200:00:0100:00:00 Break the Walls down!

October 12, 200817 yr I signed up on the dk3 boards 6 years ago and have been a fairly constant user of scapeboard and forum.tipit (mostly lurker) even when i havent been playing runescape Ihave no idea why, I just fall into habits of browsing certain forums and this one has stuck with me.
October 12, 200817 yr I don't particularly care about the people here, though I am fond of a few people. I come here because I need people to argue with. La lune ne garde aucune rancune.
October 12, 200817 yr I just like discussing stuff with the forum. I can't exactly have mature discussions with most of my friends, because either they make an extremely crude joke about it, or are too busy staring at the girl's butt across the room. Can you not do both?
October 12, 200817 yr Sometimes there are some great topics. You get the contrast between the funny topics, and the serious debatable topics. I like to see other people's opinions but what I love most about forums, is that you don't need to shout or over talk each other, you state your argument in a post, and it continues at your own paces. :D But I really hate runescape now, and i'm glad there are others here who have gone through the same phase of playing it to detesting it now :D Quit Runescape 30th May 2006.Thanks to Hawkxs for my signature :)

October 12, 200817 yr I love the clashing of philosophies. I probably shouldn't be talking though... I was only active for about a year. :?
October 12, 200817 yr Nothing better to do, to be honest. And one or two of you would look cute with no clothes on. I know I'm not an oldie. Just thought you Lent-worshippers wanted to know something about me. <3 catch it now so you can like it before it went so mainstream
October 12, 200817 yr Mainly the people here, and the occasional topic to get my thoughts out. A good amount of people are mature and are actually smarter than some of the idiots that I go to school with. And one other reason: Vikings. I was going to eat hot dogs for dinner tonight. I think I will settle for cereal. OPEN WIDE HERE COMES THE HELICOPTER.

October 12, 200817 yr Mlbfan. I just can't pull away from his incredibly funny and witty posts. I mean, he's hilarious.
