As of this week, Jagex has blessed us with the opportunity to make Tip.it not only win the last great war of the old wilderness, but also to win the first war of the NEW wilderness...

 

 

 

Dustin, the event leader has made some changes to the event in order to reflect this...

 

So, ALL READ THIS (and tell your friends and tell them to tell their friends), because this is what you need to know:

 

 

 

- World is now 62 rather then 61

 

- We fight in the ruined castle in the far north east of the Wilderness (the scene of the last one), rather then the Clanwars Arena

 

- You can wield ANY F2P Weapon, this includes Corrupt Dragon (but bring spare rune weapon, as Corrupt Dragon only lasts 30 minutes)

 

- You can now kill people pretty much anywhere within 10% of your F2P combat level + 5 additional levels -> Level 70 can kill level 58 in Edgevile

 

 

 

If you get attacked, running into a safezone is not always going to save you! it takes 10 seconds before the enemy can no longer attack you!

 

 

 

THIS IS SOMETHING YOU MIGHT WISH TO DO BEFORE THE EVENT:

 

 

 

-Log in on a PvP world; you'll be teleported to Lumbridge the first time you do this

 

-From there, log out, and back into another non-PvP world and make your way to Edgeville

 

-Enter the bank of Edgeville and stay there till it is time to log in.

 

 

 

On the day itself, a few people will probably discover this for themselves that they are teleported to Lumbridge... I'll see if I can arrange some escorts, so people can leave in the safety of groups... Remember your HYT's!!!

This change is awesome. I was thinking how the war would fail if we had it at the red portal, how we'd get zombies etc. Pking servers would be much easier. Zombies have to go out of their way to return to the war and it will be obvious when someone is zombieing. This war should be fun now... :twisted:

The one last year, me and a friend got a 1.2m drop... 600k ea =) One lvl 70 with 1.2m cash on it, against two lvl 105+ lol.

On this plus side, this is going to be awesomely fun. On the minus side, people are gonna get quite bored just standing in a bank 3 hours prior to the event #-o
