December 27, 200817 yr I bought my first cellphone at the age of 20. I think people should not have a cellphone before the age of 18/19. Kids don't know the value of money and just spend their parent's money all the time on the Cellphone, reason why they should buy it themselves if they want one. I agree on that, I got my 1st phone at 16, only because I could afford to buy credit and because I was out of the house alot and often needed to call mum to pick me up, and she needed to be able to call me if anything happened. January 5, 200917 yr O.k, this is embarassing to admit, but I have never owned a cell phone before ( not because my family could never afford one, I have just never asked and generally never shown interest before, nor has my sister for some strange reasons.) It's lame using a home phone and I get invited to parties and bawl games through Xbox Live. :lol: So anyway, if we crunch numbers and bail our home phone for a 4-way family plan( or 3-way? My dad has a work phone he uses socially even though he's not supposed to.) how much more are cell family plans over home phones? I am fairly certain we would if parents heard me out. So what is a phone that is good for someone new? I don't want a hunk of [cabbage] that is outdated, but I don't have to be fancy either. So can anyone PLEASE HELP me on plans and which phone to get?
