Put in a mountain troll section. Sadly, it's pretty boring. Going to edit in the stuff Kent said now. I got sidetracked yesterday. Smallville and Supernatural were on. What was I supposed to do? :P

Edit:and edited some stuff in on the General Equipment section.

It's almost a requirement as far as orginization and sleekness goes when you have many hide tags. There is by far less space between. Can you honestly not see the difference?

Ah now that you mention it, I do! Ha sorry, I was looking at the wrong spot. Seems like a good thing for me to do, but it would take a while. Might do it, but could cause some problems. Ty.

There's a safespot for trolls too :-w

While you're using Word, why not press ctrl+f and replace all [/hide] with

• [/hide]

? That's what I did for all my guides.

Might have been mentioned before, but I believe there is a better spot for trolls, which lets you cannon them in the mountain camp.

 

 

 

In the west-most hut on the mountain camp, right before the entrance to the Stronghold, there are 3 safe squares from the trolls. If you stand in the middle one, you can range a troll. Now since you are in a safespot, the cannon will act like it is multicombat, and shoot every troll there. The only small difficulty is when you reload, but even then give it 5 seconds and the cannon will be back to normal. Plus it's easier to get to (Trollhiem Teleport) and there are no Thrower Trolls.

Hm, nice spot. Sadly, I probably won't update it into the guide since I don't know much about Warped Tortoises(and scabarites for the record) so I can't personally say certain things are better than others without throwing out information I'd probably misuse. That's why those sections are pretty basic.

 

 

 

And i'm sorry I havn't been updating this guide lately. But good news is I probably will tommorrow. As I just finished my research report on Harriet Tubman :D . Damn, that thing took forever. Going to work on Troll Generals tommorrow.

I love the guide, just used it to camp at abbies.

 

 

 

One pretty important thing you are missing:

 

 

 

Full arma with a good shield (drag sq and up) IS BETTER than the verac skirt combo you are showing. The +8 for the god book isnt worth sacrificing a possible 70 def bonus. Try it out, you'll see. The only way arma + dfs loses to your tank outfit is in prayer bonuses.

 

 

 

It might also be a good idea to try and find something with a verac helm in stead of arma helmet. Again, the +8 for the arma helmet is pertty low compared to the + 55 (or whatever) def bonus verac's helmet gives.

 

 

 

My 2 cents.

 

 

 

One more thing: full arma + god book + unicorn is enough to camp at abbies.

Most of the time I don't include a Verac Helm or a good shield is because most of the time you just don't need it. Like at abbies, like you said. :) I think I will update some tasks, like Nechs and Cave Crawlers with a Verac helm/good shield though. :

You missed the essention of my reply: Your tank outfit is BAD. Full armadyl with DFS is better (both in ranged bonus and defence) than the verac skirt combo you suggest.

You should think about adding different methods for the same monster. For example, you suggest ranging Nechryaels with a safespot in the Slayer Tower. However, did you know you can also kill Nechryaels in the Chaos Tunnels using Red Chichompas to get much faster range and slayer xp. Of course it's more expensive, but for some it's worth the cost.

 

 

 

Once I get 99 defence, I'll be range slaying too. I'll use parts of your guide, but since it doesn't apply to me much, I'll have to be creative. With 99 defence, 88 summoning, range void, and a DFS, tanking instead of safespotting many tasks can be easily done for faster xp.

Unupdated guides don't and shouldn't equal dead guides, or at least until enough time passes.

I have some questions.

 

 

 

1) Could i use this with 75 ranged, just sort of following along and improving?

 

 

 

2) Why the canifis portal in your house out of curiosity. (A portal room is going in today :) )

This guide will never die :evil: I love this guide..it has helped me so much. You put my favorite skills together, Range and Slayer. Really though..this guide should never die...I'm really using it a lot since I'll be going for like 96 or 97 range through slayer. May be dumb , but I don't want to get bored while training range...plus I'm poor so no chins for me :P Eh...back to the guide...this is a great guide and it is one of the most helpful ones I have seen. Hopefully you'll have time to update it later on, Keep up the good work. =D>

After 99 melees, this guide will become my life. Be prepared for some serious Edtheripper loving.
