Show your ride/dream car

Well, I'm interested to see what people are driving around here. I'll start it off:

PS: My girlfriend is behind the wheel, I took the picture.

I'm 14 so I don't have a "ride", but my mom owns a Cadilliac CTS.

I love the Veyron, it's the ultimate car. I don't care that the Aero TT goes faster now, for me the Veyron is the best, nothing else can compare. W16 engine, 1001bhp, that's insane. It has more radiators than my house!

[hide=]2006-Aston-Martin-DB9-Sports-Pack-SA-1280x960.jpg[/hide]

The DB9 is the best looking car ever made. It's absolutely flawless.

These aren't my cars, obviously.

I have a Citroen Saxo. -.-

It's a good car though, hasn't broken down yet, and I've had no other problems with it.

I can't find any pictures right now, but I'm a sucker for a sexy Chevy truck or any classic muscle car.

catch it now so you can like it before it went so mainstream

[hide=My favourite 'ride' tbh

[hide=actual car]01cavalier.jpg[/hide]

Seriously though, sleek n sexy is what I like. As long as it looks incredible and the engine can roar, I want it.

I currently have an '01 Cavalier and I love it. I've done so much stupid [cabbage] to/with it and it still runs great. Amazing first car. ::'

That's the one thing in this world that pisses me off to no end. Some punk in a tuner or other similarly small car decides to ruin their engine so it makes a loud noise. It's like getting a stick shift when you haven't spent your entire life driving with it - it's ridiculous and unnecessary. Not to mention, in many cases it actually means your car is running worse.

If I ever own a little car, it'll run quiet and smooth, like the car-God meant.

I don't have my camera near, but my car is a Toyota Echo 2002, that was first bought in 2001, it still runs like new even with 250k Kilometers and 2 accidents :D . Great first car that my parents sold me for $1000 this year. I don't have much time left before I have to change the clutch though :S.

I agree with this. What is the point of making your engine run loud when it isn't running well. Jumped-up ignoramuses.

This is what should be my car, if my dad ever got around to fixing it:

That was my sig here for a few days when I was trying to win that contest . . . came in like 4th.

Im not big on cars, but what I really like is big business type cars. My dream car would be an Audi A8.

2008 Mitsubishi Eclipse. Had this until I lost it in my family's bankruptcy. Unfortunately that leaves me vehicleless aside from what my grandparents let us borrow which is..

[hide=]2000_Boneville_SE_-SILVER_LF1.jpg[/hide]

Pontiac Bonneville. Not bad to drive and has a V6 so it's got a little more power than my Eclipse had.

[hide=]1969%20Camaro.jpg[/hide]

Dream car. '69 Chevy Camaro SS. Nearly makes me [bleep] in my pants just looking at it.

Been driving this for a while:

(2002 model)

[hide=]t7xu9k.png[/hide]

Not the best and the total HP is under 200, but I agree with angryjoe... At least most new Audis/Mercs are representable and you can use them for business trips etc.

Tons of good cars in the world, gas-guzzling monsters, but still cool.. The BG Veyron, Ferrari F360 Modena spider, Murcielago... Only downside is that without the proper income you'll blow a lifetime of savings on a single car :lol:

I have to i'd like an old muscle car from the 60's... Mustang or a Chevvy.

Holden ftw! and not these modern Astras and ve's and [cabbage], old holdens. the latest model Holden i would be remotely interested in is a vk commy (1984 - 1986), but really e

ven that not as good as the old monaros.

[hide=a vk]21-VK-05.jpg[/hide]

what i really love is earlier fully Aussie engineered cars.

[hide=hz monaro. this isnt a great pic but first i found on google]image22681.jpg[/hide]

this is the only kind of ute i ever wanna drive!

[hide=sik ute]hz.jpg[/hide]

and this is my one tonner (a old pic ive done alot more to it since. dont mind the wiring thats all taped up now lol)

[hide=my beast]hpim6134sr3.jpg[/hide]

202 efi from a vk is what you see sitting in it now. stupid p pl;ate laws here prevent me from having "8 cylinders". stupid [bleep]ing [puncture]s that make those rules must know less about cars than anyone on earth. a xr6 or any hot 6 would have more power than a 253 or 308 behind one of these heavy old things.

I want one:

smart-car.jpg

are you mad? i wouldnt put my worst enemy in a junk heap like those stupid "smart cars". i wouldn't even use something that bad to sit in the the backyard and rust while my dog slept in it.

those things are ugly, and not to mention that very unsafe.

Without commenting on the aesthetics, they are very unsafe, compared to bigger cars. USA Today wrote an article on it last year:

http://www.usatoday.com/money/autos/200 ... cars_N.htm

If the switch to smaller, lighter vehicles continues to grow, the result could be anywhere from dozens to thousands of traffic deaths that would have been avoided in bigger vehicles, according to fatality records and safety forecasters. The number depends on how many bigger, heavier vehicles ultimately are replaced by smaller, lighter cars.

"People are looking for ways to save fuel, and they need to know that if they decide to buy a much smaller vehicle, they are putting themselves and their families at risk," says Adrian Lund, president of the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. IIHS, supported by auto insurance companies, follows traffic deaths closely.

I'd never, ever let any of my family members drive in one, let alone if I have kids some day, driving them around in those. Cutting fuel costs isn't a reason to add a few 1,000%'s to your likelihood of dying in traffic.

agreed. they couldn't imaging they would be very fun to drive either with such a short wheel base.

they should melt dem all down and turn them into real cars

:roll: Yes, I completely have never heard of how unsafe they are.....

Do you think I care? I probably couldn't get one due to their price in NA, plus the fact that they only fit two people makes it non-functionality for the most part.

I want one for the nerdy factor.
