December 6, 200817 yr It's very interesting that they mention the 'black market' (RWT), even after it has supposedly been eliminated. Does Yahoo! know something we don't? Wouldnt surprise me if a chart of the top ten Rs related searchs included "Buy Rs Gold" somewhere pretty high. For some outside looking into Rs, gold farming probably crops up alot. On a postive note, Go Rs. (Although its probably only so high as kids cant remember how to use the address bar :-# ) more like they don't know how to delete adress bar history. My friends do this, they alter normal history easily but the adress bar history is avoided by going to rs tru google/yahoo. The clock is ticking, and your time is running out, mortals.
December 6, 200817 yr Runescape before Jessica Alba. What is the world coming to. -.- Wth is Naruto? Looks pretty homosexual to me.
December 6, 200817 yr Everybody on the internets uses The Google now, not so much of The Yahoo. You need to use strategery when finding popularity.[/bush] Even though a lot of people use Google instead, it's still rather surprising that Runescape is rated so high. December 8, 200817 yr It's very interesting that they mention the 'black market' (RWT), even after it has supposedly been eliminated. Does Yahoo! know something we don't? :| Discuss. It was never "eliminated" or erased from the game, and it still isn't. I don't play the game anymore but I observe a few of those 'underground' sites to pick up clues on how they manage to still transfer wealth from one character to another. It's become more complicated and sophisticated, and I obviously wont write any strategies here, but it's still very possible to "buy gold" and items. If anything, there are more gold sellers and power-levelers now than a year ago, mostly operating out of chinese sweatshops. The methods of transfer have just become different after the trade system updates.
December 8, 200817 yr Is runescape really that hard to spell? You forgot the capital "R". [/spelling nazi] It's always mis-pronounced. For one, my mom calls it "Run! Escape!" and my text program calls it "Rune Eskp". :P Hehe Killerred005, incase you didn't notice it's "RuneScape" Anyway, to the topic starter, You don't start to play World of Warcraft from the websites page, do you? Isn't it loaded from a disc? Whereas, RuneScape isn't. Also, Yahoo! Ftl. RIP Michaelangelopolous
December 8, 200817 yr Nice to see. And yea, they don't know yet that RWT is practiacally dead. A quick google search on RS gold with select keywords will show you there are more RWT businesses now than 1 year ago. The methods of wealth transfer have simply become more sophisticated and not dependent on direct trading, such as Jagex's own pvp schemes (wont go into details) Jagex really hasn't done anything to solve the problem other than just drive the traders further 'low profile', it's still a significant issue that degrades the economy for honest players who like to earn money like it's supposed to be; By playing the game. As spambot trends on tip.it also show, an increasing amount of those businesses are also offering powerleveling services and the sale of high level accounts.
December 9, 200817 yr Yes, Yahoo is right, the black market is huge. Also there is always at least 2 spambots in world 2 spouting nonsense about rs3 beta or rs2 with no trade limit and old wildy back, and whatnot. Sad part is, i see tons of pmods there too and they don't do anything about it.

December 9, 200817 yr I find it amazing that "RuneScape" > "porn", "hardcore" or even "teen"... [-- DYNAMIC SIGNATURES FOR RUNESCAPE 3 & OLDSCHOOL 2007 RUNESCAPE --]
December 9, 200817 yr I use google 8-) , but Yahoo! is quiet popular too, so beign in number 5. spot is alot of searches, and good PR for runescape.
December 10, 200817 yr I usually hang out in the Yahoo!Answers strangely enough to find several questions regarding RuneScape in the Video & Online Games section. This is surprising but somehow not shocking. Ive always preferred Yahoo! Over Google  .
