December 5, 200817 yr Well, we all have dreams of becoming famous by doing something everyone thought was impossible. I know I have. But some people set unrealistic goals, trying to do the impossible. What do you think is an unrealistic goal or even impossible to achieve? Personally, I thought untrimmed 99 Slayer and 99 Summoning was impossible. Except that http://www.zybez.net/community/index.ph ... pic=950717 shows that the same person was able to achieve both. Now, after seeing loads of blogs and lots of Runescape updates, I think soloing the corp beast is impossible. Many people used the strategy where you hit the beast, ran under it and so on and so forth. Obviously Jagex was looking up on youtube how people tried to solo it and found this method out. They then released a new attack for the beast; where the beast hits you while you're under him. I really think Jagex will do anything they can to make this beast unsoloable. Note: And no, I'm not advertising for zybez. Its just that I knew no one would believe me if I didn't show proof.
December 5, 200817 yr Since I'm not into opinion wars at the moment, I'll just respond to the corporeal beasts thing. Yes, it has happened. Jagex gave in to the WoW example and made an unsoloable monster. Which brings me to it, why is Jagex now building RS into a WoW clone? So many things which take a step in that direction lately. You're being watched.
December 5, 200817 yr Author With all fairness, WoW is more fun. True, its more addicting, costs more and generally has more bots. I own Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos and Frozen Throne and still love them. The two times i played WoW were really fun. I also think Jagex wants to keep making things harder. I remember when soloing the KBD made you important. Now, level 90s can do it easily.

So, that was an intentional pun, I suppose. In all seriousness, comparing RuneScape to WoW is like comparing a Trabant, a Wartburg, a [insert junk car of your choice here] to a Ferrari. Of course the Ferrari (WoW) is better. And it's getting better, even, as RuneScape gets worse. Glad I chose RuneScape as the MMORPG of my choice, I wouldn't have problems quitting it if needed! Hey, that might be the hardest thing in RuneScape. Quitting it. You're being watched.

You can either kill monsters from using ring of recoils or having someone cast "Veng other" every attack. These methods would take decades and cost billions of GP. Its possible. But its never going to happen. Zzzamorak has 56 or so slayer at level 3 so I know it can be done. The truth is, no one, in their right or wrong mind would do this.

December 5, 200817 yr I dont see how people get addicted to wow. I've played it twice for a solid month each time and got bored out of my mind. I find RS to be a far superior game in every way accept for PVP but I don't do PVP either way :
December 6, 200817 yr Hm... I think slayer and summoning are the only hardest ones =\. The rest seem pretty easy for low combat players. ~Bomb

December 6, 200817 yr The hardest thing in RuneScape is a hammer. It can batter dragon, rune, barrows' equipment... without being scratched! Actually a hammer can't batter dragon - so the hardest thing in the game i would think would be the hammer you get from the dwarfs in keldagrim for 1 mill that an batter the dragon. (i want a hammer as a weap - maybe change their platelegs into a plateskirt with a couple of blows like you can in smithing)

Hmmm, wouldn't a chisel be harder? It can cut diamonds in seconds. Even cut them into arrowtips! But If you understand how hardness works (As things get harder they get brittler. Watch the mythbuster's hammer episode they explain it) it isn't unreasonable to cut diamonds. Another example would be concrete. Hard, yes. Lay a sheet of it on two raised platforms and you can snap it easily because it doesn't bend.
December 6, 200817 yr soloing the CB is very possible and very easy, costs 400k+ a kill and takes 20+ minutes.. but its possible.

Check it out, huge amount of effort has gone into this massive mod![hide=old sig][/hide]
December 10, 200817 yr Sleeping. That is all. Current account: Dragonguy 87 Goals: Get members Get all skills 40+ Hehe, this is like Jagex telling half of Runescape players that they're [developmentally delayed]. Sort of. That's how I interpreted it. :P Runescape is why I support abortion.
