What do you think if coldplay? I haven't been a big fan since 'Lovers in Japan'

Coldplay is just whatever. I really liked their Parachutes CD its probably my favorite. The new EP of theirs Prospekt's March is also pretty good I think its better then Viva La Vida for sure. Besides that, most their stuff generally sounds the same.

They have kind of catchy songs, but that's it. Plus Chris Martin's constant falsetto doesn't really do it for me.

Never really liked them. Though, never really heard much of their stuff.

My sister likes them, I don't mind them but not my favourite.

 

 

 

Some of their songs are quite good actually but can't stand any of their new stuff for some reason.

I like them a lot. It is true that most of they're songs sound similar, but if you listen to the lyrics and try to figure out the meaning, and you find the meaning, it makes it a much more enjoyable experience.

I've had a kind of coldplay phase, never been a big fan though. Their last album is pretty good, a lot better than X&Y, which was impossible to get trough.

Parachutes and A Rush of Blood aren't too bad. X&Y was boring but Viva la Vida had a few good moments.

Aside from a few songs (Yellow, In My Place, Speed of Sound, Clocks), most of their stuff lacks emotional depth and creativity. I just can't relate to them at all.

Not really, the album is very popular.

 

 

 

Personally, I like them, on average. Some songs are just boring, while other songs are brilliant. Overall it's just a good band.

My two favourite songs.

I liked Viva La Vida and didn't think much of Fix You. I liked Violet Hill a lot within their album.

 

 

 

Coldplay is a love-hate thing I guess.

I love Talk and Fix You. I think Viva La Vida is pretty good too, just don't overplay it ;-)

Another note on Coldplay is that they give off an ideal of how love is suppose to feel.

If you view the video posted in the OP, you'll see that there are... a fair few "similarities," to say the least, between the two songs.

 

 

 

Edit: The video was actually deleted... but it'd still be interesting for you to read up on what people said about the video.
