With high ATT and STR i would say hell yes. I borrowed one a while back and i was very impressed by what it could do. I would not hesitate buying one as soon as i get the money.

I have one im pretty happy with it. There are still times i use my whip though.

Depends on what you do really, It is sort of good for pvp situations such as pvp world, castle wars/clan wars, maybe bandos and zam gwd. Other than that, I seriously can't think of other uses, I would say no to purchasing a Bandos Godsword unless you do those things very frequently.

The whip is much cheaper and can be used with a shield. I prefer whip or even saradomin sword over Bgs. Other godswords are impressive(except maybe zamorak), but Bgs isn't that good. I used Saradomin Sword and my cousin used Bgs, and I beat him. He is even 10 cmb higher than me..

 

Bgs is not for training, maybe not even for pvp.

For its price its very good ill say. Its 18mil For BGS agains 65mil for AGs. If you havent got the money for SGS or AGS, then BGS is a good sub.

it may be epicly awsome, and better than guthans on its own, and awsome for almost all situations, but still.....

 

BGS is good , as its the "starter" godsword.

Godswords and DFS is rubbish for training. Remember that.

 

 

 

DFS has very little use, and Godswords are for PvP and Bosses.

BGS is the "noob's" godsword, the special attack is next to useless and hardly ever hits higher than a normal hit. For your stats, I wouldn't get a BGS, wait until you're at least 90 att+ strength, which you're nowhere near.

I only use a bgs (i never buy, i borrow) in castle wars. Whenever a zgs is unavailable, i just get a bgs. People complain about stacked teams in cw, but a good bgs spec can ruin a flagholder's chances at survival...

This lvl 134 with full arma/torag pl8/vskirt picked up his own flag and was running around while my people were trying to scratch him.

 

 

 

Somehow my accuracy was great enough to land a 59 with the special and ruin his defense; then he died within 10 seconds.

 

 

 

But the bgs special does fail (hit zeroes) a lot.

 

 

 

It's a starter-godsword as previously mentioned.

 

 

 

When i first got mine for 32m, i liked it.

The only reason I would buy a bgs, is if I had extra junk and wanted to get rid of it by lending my bgs.

So that's why it's not worth it with your stats. Hell, you can't even wield it ;)

A good spec on any boss/player will make the fight VERY easy from there on. The spec is not for damage dealing, it does have a small damage increase, but it's the stat nerf you want. Never upgrade to ZGS unless you play CW more than anything.

 

 

 

For the average player, NO it is not worth it. Someone with your stats does alot more training than boss hunting, I don't know whether or not you PK, but any GS but SGS is not worth it unless you do ALOT of boss hunting or PKing. Although, if you're loaded with cash (50-100m+) and have nothing to use it on, sure, buy one. They can be very fun to use when you first get your hands on them, I remember I couldn't come to my senses and use a whip over a GS for a week when I first bought a GS. T'was too much fun :D

Or you could just barrow one and see if you like it before you put out 18mil to buy it. (i lend out for 20k per hour)

all godswords are useful for certain things, so a bandos godsword is a good investment until you can upgrade to saradomin or armadyl.

I think that if you can afford a bandos GS then get it,otherwise,save for the Arma,or sara,

 

for me,i borrowed it yesterday,i have 80 att,83 str,and 80 defence,i tried it at duel arena,and owned everyone in my level range(100),and i won over about 4 people with 99 str,including a 117,and even a 122,it hits high easily,and i did a 40 :D

Bgs is what, 19m? 95 mage > spec/boss weapon. Those mage levels have far more appliations then a sword.
