It's deeper than that. In nearly all cases there is always a history of mental illness/drugs or child abuse. The video game was only a trigger or a "snap" and is being blamed for the murder purely for the media hype. This was a planned murder, it wasn't over a video game. That being said, it was definitely a barbaric act. The only people who tell you that you can't do something are those who have already given up on their own dreams so feel the need to discourage yours.

January 13, 200917 yr It's the only mental disorder I actually know the slightest bit about. :s It's not unheard of that people with bipolar disorder have "snapped" but it's usually, once again for deeper reasons than just the clouded judgment. Most of these things stem from a horrible past of emotional/physical/sexual abuse. Years later, he presented again a crisis of escalating aggressive urge for which he was hospitalized. Many people and associations of his hometown actively demanded the minimal possible punishment for him.
