xlippsx
Well Sublime is usually better when you're high, but whenever I'm at a party there is always some sort of giant sing along of "Santeria". I don't really like that song, but meh, whatever. It's good when I'm drunk. Santeria is the most overplayed sublime song :shame:

indy500fan
Depends on what kind of situation you are in. At a wedding reception for example general wedding dancing songs go from "man this is so generic to play at a wedding" when sober to "this is the best song ever" when drunk. When the main purpose of a party is to drink then the aforementioned Pogues are great. When just hanging out with some old friends the best songs are the ones that have nostalgic value, ones that you were into back in high-school that you haven't heard in a while. EDIT: Looking at songs that are kind of focused on drinking it turns out they are all Irish. The Dubliners and The Pogues did a song together called The Irish Rover which for some reason I really like to start drinking, even though it's about a ship rather than drinking. After you are already wasted The Dropkick Murphy's - Kiss Me I'm s***faced is great.
