Sorta gets hints like when you train combat in the same 'area' you then cut a gem and a random pops out. I did not know that it was predictable though maybe I was moving in between areas too much.

 

 

 

I would be curious to know if you could stand in the same spot arching/maging with a load of bones then systematically bury one after the 15 mins.

 

1) Genies / Books of Knowledge. No friends.

i found it because isaw a patren of when u get ramdons. i spent a week trying it out

I always hate getting them, useless time wasters, especially the mime guy -.-

I sincerely doubt this concept, they're called "Random Events" for a reason, i also believe that the best way to get random events is to do a skill such as Woodcutting or Fishing. This would increase your chance due to the many autoers in the game, they make the random events happen to prevent the autoers and give them some trouble :)

Somehow I think actually DOING something for 15 minutes will far outweigh the reward you get after spending it standing in the one place.

This happens at Ankous. It was always cool saying "brb random" and amazing the newbies. Just bury bones, kill em for 15 minutes, burry another, random.

i think so if u burry bones at beging and then alch then burry 1 more bone it would work if u dont move.

You can play the game, you know. Me and my friend trained, alched together and did all sorts of stuff in between burying the bones. You just have to time it so you can bury the bone right after 15 minutes go by. (Buring as soon as the clock changes)

i know i just found out.

Instead of doing that, you could just go do some hunting, get some tasty XP and maybe some profitable chins, all the while you have relatively high chances of getting any non-telly away random.

The same thing worked for me when I used to train on fleshies. They're auto-aggressive for 10 minutes, and I would just stand there and let them attack. After 10 minutes is up, I killed a rat, buried the bones, and got a random 95% of the time, which then makes them all re-aggressive and lets me just sit there :
