Ew you went back to 5? The only thing I miss from WaW is Gnatsie Zombies.

I can't afford to buy it (and, at the moment, don't really want to buy it) but my brother borrowed it from Blockbuster. It is quite a good game from what I saw, but I don't play borrowed game. Buy it for me and that's a different story.

Well, I really enjoyed the storyline even if it was a bit over the top in places. The spec ops were good fun to do with a friend, they definitely require teamwork and some can take a lot of time to work out the best way to do them. The multiplay is the best bit for me, they have taken the best bits of COD4 and added a lot of customisation options which I really enjoy. The maps are good in my opinion. Overall I would say it has been on the best game purchases I've made this year.

So I dont play call of duty, but I have to say whats the deal with the anger whilst playing? My brother and his friends playing pretty much yell at each other and everyone and actually get reallly and while playing, and the other people they play against appear to do the same. They all take the game so seriosuly. Why?

Because when you have kids that dont even know what sex is playing the game and having their annoying high pitch voices camping out and bsing you, it makes you mad very quickly....

Hey anyone played Rundown and went behind the TF141 spawn? Theres like a massive water thing and it has a ladder to the top, but theres no way to get to the ladder..

71-7 on Favela. Considering putting the Nuke on because its not hard to get 14 kills with Chopper Gunner depending on the map.

2 Chopper Gunners had something to do with it.

 

Put on the Nuke for the first time today, and called one in on Invasion. Couldn't find a fridge in time so I died as well. Worth it just for the lulz; going for the second so I can get the challenge and emblem.

M4A1 with ACOG Sight and FMJ with Bling perk has gotta be my favorite weapon, even though it's not amazingly powerful. It's not an AK47 or an M16, but it does the job!

For some reason I've been struggling to break into this game, and while I'll get a great game once in a while, I struggle to define myself as a player which in previous games I had no problem doing. My K/DR is only slightly positive, to give you guys a feel of where I'm coming from. And yes, I still can't decide whether or not I like the RDS or Holographic sight more. For some reason this is still annoying the [cabbage] out of me and I'd really appreciate some opinions from some of you, especially those of you that have prestiged. I'd appreciate some help at this time. Thanks again.

Well, I find that holo seems to reduce recoil for some reason. :unsure:

 

It seems FAMAS or ump45 dominates at low levels (if you have stopping power). My K/DR is .77, so you are doing better than me. Unless you are trying to get the title and emblem for the nuke, a good Killstreak setup would be predator or sentry(whichever you prefer), harrier, then Attack Chopper.

It really amazes me how few people seem to have anti-air equipment in their set-up. I just got a really easy 30 killstreak on Favela with a chopper gunner, everyone whined in the lobby but if you can't even have one class with a stinger or javelin on you're asking for it really. I carry a stinger on all my classes and there is nothing more satisfying than blowing away a chopper or harrier seconds after it has spawned. :P

I love doing that as well! The +200 and +300 bonuses are nice as well. Harriers are the easiest to kill imo, since you can predict where they will end up. Sometimes targeting is hard, since the aircraft are almost always 1 hit kills, but it is a huge advantage to have a Stinger with you at all times. I just wish there were more challenges for it.

Probably the biggest thing to say is that the game doesn't play quite the same as COD4. It's less run and gun. Guns kill faster; you don't want to be out in the open at all. Try to be in hard cover as much as possible, because people will see you on thermal scopes if you just hide in some bushes.

 

Tailor killstreaks to suit your playing style, if you're not doing great right now then try using some of the lower killstreaks, maybe Care Package/Predator/Airstrike until you feel more confident with the game.

 

Pick maybe 4 guns and use them all the time rather than trying out all the new guns, its whats worked for me, by specialising in a few guns I'm now really confident using them. It's also more efficient in terms of levelling due to the XP bonuses.

 

Have a means of taking down killstreaks on all your classes apart from a sniper class. Either an AT4-HS or Stinger, Stinger is the best at taking out killstreaks by far but the AT4-HS can be fired without a lock on and is very effective at taking out campers. If you have Stopping Power Pro on then an AT4-HS rocket + maybe 10 bullets from a gun takes down Harriers and Helicopters, netting you a nice XP bonus as well. 2 Stingers takes out a Pave Low or Chopper Gunner. If you don't take out killstreaks then you really will get masses of deaths from them.

 

Grenades aren't that good this time round, I suggest taking either Claymores or Tactical Insertions instead. Be careful where you put the Insertion though because someone can just stand behind it and wait for you to spawn.

 

As for RDS vs Holo sight I use RDs because it allows more peripheral vision, and because the red dot on the Holo sight is bigger it makes it so you can't see the target at long range.

I have ninja pro, and I thought ordinary ninja did that? Either way, it doesnt work. And if it does, people just randomly turn around and see a red dot on their sensor. :/

 

And you can still spray like in WaW or MW, but MW2 is way more camp orientated. I think IW tried to fix Spraying but ended up helping camping.

WHY INFINITY WARD, WHY!!! I think it doesnt work w/ heartbeat sensors because when i look in KC's and there using a heartbeat sensor, it does show me up as a f[bleep]ing dot...

I either snipe with a Barret .50cal with silencer and akimbo rangers as a secondary or use my M16 with akimbo rangers. I personally love sniping, especially with a silenced Barret and a good view on enemies. Level 42 now.
