Recksash
Jagex has promised in this year of updates to revitalize older areas. I feel that they have made an excellent start. The area of Dorgesh-Kaan was one of the largest and most detailed areas in Runescape, but no one was ever there! With the addition of a training area and an agility arena as well as adding a faerie teleport, Jagex has breathed new life into this once abandoned city. The city may not be as crowded as it was at the start of the quest, but I feel that after this update, there will be noticeably increased activity in this city. Wkw
There is still not enough of stuff to do there.. So, no. Unless you can buy tele orbs for cash instead of glass.. Runescape player since 2005 Ego Sum Deus Quo Malum Caligo et Barathum
Ravenkana
Unfortunately, the training area/agility arena can easily, and freely, be accessed through the fairy ring system. If the CORPORAL beast is this hard, imagine how hard a GENERAL or COLONEL beast would be. a corporal is not even an admirable rank in armies that use that ranking system. Yeah, it is a pking minigame, so any arguments anybody makes will probably be biased. The best way this will end :Everybody just says,"I'm not arguing with you anymore, goodbye."The worst way this will end: I don't really know, psychological warfare? mario_sunny
Well if you think about it people don't generally use cities that much (perhaps with the exception of Varrock, GE). Most cities are composed of shops, but players can easily buy an tradable item they want in the GE. By popular demand, this signature is back- however I currently do not have a blog up at the moment and if I did I wouldn't update it. Sorry, the sig links to nowhere :( . acenator
I doubt it. There really isn't much to do in the actual city and anyone planning on using the new Bandos Throne Room will probably just make a bunch of tele-orbs to get there. Give it a week or two and the city will be deserted again. > SELECT * FROM users WHERE clue > 0;0 rows returnedThere's no place like 127.0.0.1There are only 10 types of peoplein this world: those who understandbinary and those who don't.This statement is false.$DO || ! $DO ; trytry: command not found

dannyb103
Questers probably. There are probably also a lot of people doing Land of Goblins etc because they hear that those granite maces sell for 100k+. :? Dorgushkaan has a bank, but its miles from a teleport and any useful skill places, so its deserted. If you added an anvil, or a furnace, or something like a 'good' teleport into the city, it would immediately become busy. Want to be my friend? Aneron
not so much. quests are one-time, and the only new permanent content is not in dorgesh-kaan. it's also not very good lol. the agility arena was nerfed and the mace is lame.

warren211
Dorgesh-Kaan was a newer area compared to some completely unused areas like Nardah or places where the only use is a skilling resource like Port Phasmytus, Tirranwyn, etc. I think Jagex should have added to those places first before addind to an already new city. [hide=]tip it would pay me $500.00 to keep my clothes ON :( :lol:But then again, you fail to realize that 101% of the people in this universe hate you. Yes, humankind's hatred against you goes beyond mathematical possibilities. That tears it. I'm starting an animal rebellion using my mind powers. Erichermit
Port Phasmatys is fine. People use the furnace there frequently and there are a decent amount of people who use the ectofuntus. Ryxorz
The game doesn't offer enough in cities. Most of the places that are used most are far from any good city that holds people.
Drazhor
I woudl say that it still is quite empty; isn't really enuogh to do there; though ouy may see the odd few people getting the teleorbs as said before. One place I woudl like to see updated DRAMATICLY: Keldagrimin It's been here for so long and it is empty everytime I've been there! Jagex needs to fail less like myself 8-) Visit my blog! lordkafei
I don't understand this viewpoint that every new city has to be as useful as Falador or Varrock or else it's a failure. The same people who harp about empty cities and quest areas will all still congregate in the GE burning logs, trying to "barrow SGSs" and just generally loitering. You don't like empty areas? Go loiter in one. Take your friends. Start a trend. Calzer101
Maybe, maybe not but there has been a fair rise of people popping in and out. But it will never be as popular as other places as you cant buy the tele's. Thanks mods I lost all my record of my 99's GF
strilmus
Perhaps this is being silly, but I think people want a place that just provides easy access to stuff they want. Dorgesh-kaan. Pretty, right? But hard to move around in, plus all the stuff you could want to use is tucked away in the corners far from the bank (there IS a furnace and anvil and cooking range and sandpit and water source, it's just really, really far from the bank). No teles except the fairy ring, and even then, all access types require that you carry a light source in order to get in. Nobody cares. Rogue's den. Hole. In the ground. Not much architecture or furniture outside of the training course and wall safes, just a bunch of dust and rocks, but there's a cooking fire next to the bank, plus Burthrope is a tele away with whatever thing you use to tele to the warrior's guild. EVERYBODY LIKES IT. Aside from my exaggerations and sarcasm, would you prefer it if they made the infrastructure more practical over more pretty?
