PETA Kills 95% of Adoptable Pets in it's Care.

Featured Replies

I read it as 'PETA Kills 95% of Adorable Pets in it's Care.'

So did I.

I'm not sure which would be worse - that, or the reality.

I'm fairly certain that at least 63.4% of those are considered adorable by somebody. So it's kinda the same thing.

Anyone remember peta telling ben and jerrys to use human breast milk.

yes lol

Sorry I just posted "this", but the post I quoted summed it up pretty well. If peta is so obsessed with how evil we are to animals, they should make sure they save as many as possible and not take in more then they can handle. The funds to hold (arbitrary values) 10000 dogs that will die could easily feed 1000 dogs.

Orthodoxy is unconciousness

the only ones who should kill are those who are prepared to be killed.

The Center for Consumer Freedom (CCF) (formerly called the "Guest Choice Network") is a front group for the restaurant, alcohol and tobacco industries. I am not a fan of PETA's tactics, but this accusation is just plain ridiculous. I don't believe it when this is your source.

PETA doesn't care about animals. They care about making your average consumer seem like a debauched devouring demon.

I thought we already established that PETA was [cabbage] insane.

I thought so too, but they continue to take themselves seriously.

Get back here so I can rub your butt.

Seriously.

People have known this for, like, years.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought, "old news guise."

This. The few paragraphs that made up the "article" were laden with an obvious bias and presumabley false statistics. Everyone's so quick to jump on the bandwagon, but please, use your heads here. -.-

While we're on this subject, I'm sure that letter was meant to be satirical.

To be a little insane. If the company actually switched to human breast milk, it would open a new line of jobs, about 1million or so, to guess. Along with a new brand of milk.

Don't you know the first rule of MMO's? Anyone higher level than you has no life, and anyone lower than you is a noob.

People in OT eat glass when they are bored.

I'm fine with the breast-milk idea as long as we all get it from Hillary S[bleep].

Weird how that episode of Family Guy just ended on BBC3, then I see this.

But yeah, PETA do alot of crazy [cabbage]. Really, its best just to ignore them.

And eat meat. Always eat meat.

Ahhh, PETA. America's little 'special' kid. I compare this story to when they wanted Ben & Jerry's to use human breast milk, and, I dunno. They're just like a bunch of prankster teenagers to me.

They wanted ben and jerrys to use human breastsmilk?

wtf?! that's just [bleep]ing. no. ew. and how could humans produce that much milk for the company anyways?

The whole thing's pretty much a wtf moment. It would be a miracle if any petitions like that carry through. My bad, they're not petitions, they're jokes with bad punchlines.

Peta...you never fail to amuse me.

PETA's objective is to do away with all companion animals. They don't believe animals should be used for any purpose...pets, guide dogs, police dogs, service dogs and on and on, they are against it all. They would rather see the pet dead.

They are the enemy to anyone who loves their pets.

It was obvious that sooner or later PETA would be exposed for hypocrisy. Unless every member of PETA was a Jainist vegetarian hippie who lived off self-sufficiency in a jungle, there's no way that hypocrites couldn't be found in PETA. It was only a matter of time. But I never expected this. Massive killings of homeless animals? Whether or not their life was better off being taken than living in misery, is this animal-killing organization the same one that wants Ben&Jerry's to use human breastmilk to preserve the sensitive emotional wellbeing of cows, and the one that compared chicken slaughter to the Holocaust? How can ANYONE take their propaganda seriously after this?

tip it would pay me $500.00 to keep my clothes ON :(
But then again, you fail to realize that 101% of the people in this universe hate you. Yes, humankind's hatred against you goes beyond mathematical possibilities.
That tears it. I'm starting an animal rebellion using my mind powers. Those PETA bastards will never see it coming until the porcupines are half way up their asses.

Apparently a lot of people say it. I own.

I hope somebody sues PETA for all they're worth, and I hope they get lifelong imprisonment.

Yeah, both made my day and made me *facepalm*

Perhaps I should start a vegetable rights group. We'll eat nothing but beef, pork, fish, chicken, etc. and protest the farmers that kill the poor corn plants peacefully and fully within first amendment rights... With firebombs!

Shelters can only do so much. If they don't have enough money, then there isn't enough food to go around, shelter to go around, bedding, medical costs etc It would be more inhumane to leave the animals there to suffer from malnutrition and everything else than to put them to sleep. If people looked after their pets and it were compulsory to desex them unless you have breeding papers, then this wouldn't even be an issue. This is a second chance for animals and unfortunately without the correct funding, animals are going to die. This is why when I get pets, I go to the RSPCA and while I'm there I donate some food. There should be more emphasis on adopting pets through out the rest of the year, other than just Christmas time where fortunately many animals are taken to good homes. If you don't trust where your dollar is going because usually at least 15% of it goes to staff wages, then go in to the shelter directly and give resources rather than cash. Or volunteer some of your time to clean out cages, walk the dogs and help with feeding times.

I do think that PETA has gone on long enough without being investigated. I also have my doubts about Oxfam after working for them. There is a marketing group called "the cobra group" (who go by many names globally) who apparently only profit in up to 15% of every dollar to pay for staff wages but as you climb higher up the ranks, you realize that you're earning more and more so how much is the person up the top really earning or making from the fund raising? I'm not claiming they keep more than they say but I do have my suspicions. The typical marketing salesman who successfully uses their sales pitch to sign just 5 people a day, they will earn between $1500-$2000 per week (just starting - the higher you go up the ranks, the more you get per sign). That's almost 100k annually for one sales man claiming to earn money for charitable causes. I personally knew a guy by the name of Felix who signed a minimum of 7 people a day because his sales pitch was on fire. Hmmmmmmmm. Question everything... Are you really donating to a good cause?

Only adopting out 7 pets in 12 months is beyond suspicion. Where is all this money going?

The only people who tell you that you can't do something are those who have already given up on their own dreams so feel the need to discourage yours.
