Jard_Y_Dooku
A lot of people may consider all 99 skills to be "completing" the game. But to me there is much more than that. I'd like to discuss what you think merits "completion" of RuneScape. Here's my list so far: Also, mark in red what you've completed. Blue what you have partially completed. Black which you have no progress on. What I consider to be required to complete the game: All 99 skills All minigame ranks maxed All quests completed All achievement diaries completed All emotes unlocked All music unlocked - only missing Sandwich Shop... why is it you only get random events when you DON'T want to?! Champions' Challenge completed White Knights' Master rank All highest ranks in Barbarian Assault Possess all Beacon Network rewards Possess enough Castle Wars tickets to buy the highest level equipment (or all at once, not sure yet) Possess all Chompy bird hats Possess all Circus items Possess all Pest Control items <--- I need the mace but don't really want it right now Completed Rogues Trader miniquest Possess all Great Orb project clothing rewards Possess Lumberjack outfit Possess all Trouble Brewing outfits Completed Barbarian Training Completed Bar Crawl (automatic if you've done all quests) Unlocked all Balloon Routes Completed Ghostly Robes miniquest Completed Hunt for Surok Completed Knight Waves Completed Mage Arena (all 3 spells) Completed Shadow Sword miniquest Completed Tarn's Lair Unlocked the Abyss Unlocked Mogres Completed Varrock Museum Completed Wizard Burial Possess Builder's outfit Possess Pilot's outfit Possess all Treasure Trail items Burn 500 Vyrewatch Unlock Slayer Helmet Unlock Slayer Rings Unlock Broad Bolts Gotten a Fire Cape What I do NOT consider to be required to complete the game: 200 million XP in all skills Holiday items of any sort Any amount of coins or other currency Buyable items (e.g. items you can just get off the G.E. without any requirements) Never trust anyone. You are always alone, and betrayal is inevitable.Nothing is safe from the jaws of the decompiler.

Pinkbullet3
Wouldn't you also say that completing the goals you set in RS would be considered "completing" RS? You still feel that sense of accomplishment (though not the same kind if you were to achieve all 99 stats...). :-w ^ Blog.
mario_sunny
Quitting is the only requirement for completing Well I think we all know that's physically impossible. I know I'll never 'complete' the game, however I do set some very long and hard goals to keep me going. By popular demand, this signature is back- however I currently do not have a blog up at the moment and if I did I wouldn't update it. Sorry, the sig links to nowhere :( . You still feel that sense of accomplishment (though not the same kind if you were to achieve all 99 stats...). :-w I think everyone has their own definition of "complete." Personally, I don't think RS can ever be "completed" (there's always something new to try), but that's just me. Someone else might think "complete" only includes trying everything; some might think "completing" RS means doing all the quests; etc. It just depends on who you ask. > SELECT * FROM users WHERE clue > 0;0 rows returnedThere's no place like 127.0.0.1There are only 10 types of peoplein this world: those who understandbinary and those who don't.This statement is false.$DO || ! $DO ; trytry: command not found

j23t
I would also add Burning all 500 Vyrewatch to fully upgrade ivandis flail (i have 250 so far) #-o Edit: oh and maybe having all things bought as far as slayer pts (helmet, ability to make rings and bolts) With computers, every morning is the dawn of a new error. Yomyth105
runescape is completed when you are having fun. the point of a game is for fun and for your enjoyment rather than setting goals for yourself or doing a task for the sheer completion of the game although people enjoy the sense of pride and accomplishment afterwards. Kimberly
How you complete Runescape depends on WHY you play, what you view important, and what goals you set for yourself. You can't have a cookie cutter list and say, "This is the definitive How To Complete Runescape checklist because I say so." You're only one person. You do not represent the "Everyman." That being said, fantastic effort put into list, regardless if I 100% agree or not. Here's what I've completed thusfar: All 99 skills All minigame ranks maxed All quests completed All emotes unlocked All music unlocked Champions' Challenge completed White Knights' Master rank All highest ranks in Barbarian Assault Possess all Beacon Network rewards Possess enough Castle Wars tickets to buy the highest level equipment (or all at once, not sure yet) Possess all Chompy bird hats Possess all Circus items Possess all Pest Control items <--- I need the mace but don't really want it right now (This was a pain!) Completed Rogues Trader miniquest Possess all Great Orb project clothing rewards Possess Lumberjack outfit Possess all Trouble Brewing outfits Completed Barbarian Training Completed Bar Crawl (automatic if you've done all quests) Unlocked all Balloon Routes Completed Ghostly Robes miniquest Completed Hunt for Surok Completed Knight Waves Completed Mage Arena (all 3 spells) Completed Shadow Sword miniquest Completed Tarn's Lair Unlocked the Abyss Unlocked Mogres Completed Varrock Museum Completed Wizard Burial Possess Builder's outfit Possess Pilot's outfit Possess all Treasure Trail items Burn 500 Vyrewatch Unlock Slayer Helmet Unlock Slayer Rings Unlock Broad Bolts

Punitive_D
Thanks for making this list -- it will come in very handy when I'm looking for something to do. I think that you ought to add bones to peaches to your list. It's not easy to get, and it's nice to have. I also think the list ought to include key drops. For example, how can one ever have "completed" Runescape without a visage drop? Drops with which I am familiar that I would include are d chain, dfh, d2h, visage, dwc, and I am positive that there are others. I also agree with killing bosses as a requirement -- maybe not necessarily soloing, but if you've never obtained a drop from the chaos elemental, then I don't think you've completed runescape. Same goes for kq and kbd.
