I remeber getting a dragon longsword after doing the lost city, going to experiments and training to 60 attack. i thought i was pro then.

i later got a whip, paid for by green dragons. i thought i was kind of high lvld then.

i got a bgs, thought i was kind of nooby.

i sold the bgs bought full bandos.

my stats are 92 attack 83 strength 80 defense and i consider myself the higher end of meduim level.

what exactly is the generaly accepted level to be called high level?

i know its a matter of oppinion but i would like to see other peoples oppinions(i beleive bruno once said he/she finaly felt high level when he/she bought full bandos, whereas id consider he/she pretty much elite).

High level, IMO, is 95+ combat stats. Mid level is 85-94, the halfway point for XP. Low level is <85. Certainly not Jagex's definition of it, but based on XP it makes sense.

jagex's definition of high level is probably 70+ or somthing low like that it seems.

Yeah, I assume they go by average player levels.

When I first started anybody above 100 combat was "high level", but after a couple years that viewpoint has changed a lot.

Now as I've experience the game a lot more it makes sense that combat doesn't make someone high leveled.

For high level Combat: 126+ (average of 90 in combat skills).

For high level (in general): 2160 total (average of 90 in all skills).

As for mid and low leveled, mid for me is between 80 and 90 in skills, and low is anything below 80.

(imo I'm a low leveled player and a mid level combat, but just barely that)

EDIT: Just looked it up and 4,725 players meet my criteria in total. That'd be why Jagex has a low standard for high leveled content.

Maxed out is high level. Everything beyond that is either low or not even worth mentioning.

120+, high (wow high, not just o your a high level).

100 to 120, mid.

Less then 100, low.

But then you get people with really high slayer, summoning or prayer levels (80+) and are in the mid category. They get instantly put in high, just down to the dedication.

Just my views though. I know a lot of people will say differently.

"High level" doesn't just mean combat level, although it's a large factor in the mix. I think it breaks down to:

Combat: Level 120 F2P/P2P

Skills: Between 1,800-1,900 total level

Its completely relative to who you're talking to, and what you're talking about. I consider myself to have a fairly high combat level, I've got a few levels to go till max, so I don't have a "really" high combat. I would say someone in p2p over lv 125 has "high level" status, and anyone over 90 in f2p is "f2p high level" status. In individual skills though, it really depends the skill. I've had friends say my farming level is pretty high (81), but at the same time say that my fletching is pretty low (84).

Definitely a matter of relativity. High level is relative to who you play with. Go to F2P and a level 85 combat could be high level. Level 60 WC in F2P is very high.

Go to God Wars dungeon and hunt bosses, and 90+ melees doesn't guarantee you "high level" status.

I used to think that 100+ combat is high. Now I'd say anything over 110 combat is high. But I think it really depends on the player. Like if I saw a f2p player at lv 80-90, I'd probably say they're high. Possibly because it's harder to train on f2p. The standards are raised in p2p. In my opinion.

Relatively speaking. Member stats. From my experience playing the game I feel something along these lines. Add or remove 10 levels or so for slayer, runecraft, cooking, combat stats and fletching. This is purely based on the stats themselves rather than the player/knowledge of the game. Doesnt include special exceptions. I separated them into their own categories - You dont need one or the other to be considered high in it.

"Starter status" (Not necessarily new but not experienced or more importantly invested the time needed to develop their character. Newbie could be considered lower than this.)

Combat -60+

Skills -40+

Total -1000+

"Low"

Combat 80+

Skills 60+

Total 1200+

"Medium"

Combat 110+

Skills 75+

Total 1700+

"High"

Combat 120+

Skills 80+

Total 2000+

"Very high"

Combat 130+

Skills 90+

Total 2200+

"Elite"

Combat 138

Skills 96+

Total 2300+

Playing the game for many years and being a witness to the updates I speculate that "Jagex standards" for "Elite" (By my reckoning.) are somewhere along these lines.

"Elite uber high"

Combat 60

SKills 70

Total 1000+
