Alcoholic Drinks

Might I suggest changing the title of the thread? Makes one think it's something about AA meetings. At least that's what I originally thought.

 

 

 

If you're looking for something with taste, might I suggest Kahlua Sombreros? All it is is Kahlua and milk. Really easy to make, and can be mad to taste.

 

 

 

Also, if you're looking for something on the cheap side, that has the alcohol content of beer, but doesn't taste like cat pee, try those Smirnoff Twisted thingies. They are a bit "girly" but they would go over very well. At least, I like them.

[bleep]ing Midori was so crap. tasted like cough medicine... and it made me barf too. I've never even barfed before drinking [cabbage] like coke and rum and this one does. my head [bleep]ing hurts

 

 

 

i mean by itself it is horrible but we got past that when we mixed it with some vex and vodka... but jesus christ that's not something you recommend to people.

Used to drink a lot of Cider but i've kinda went off that recently.Tried mixing cider with different stuff, other than a Snakebite, there wasn't really anything that appealed to me. Getting into mixing whisky/rum/malibu with stuff so Jack daniels and cola is a favourite at the moment. A long vodka when i'm feeling sophisticated. ;)

I love Jager Bombs, takes about 5 before i start to get tipsy and they taste great. other then that Im preferred to Rums and Wiskeys. Only beer I like is Crown and its one of the more expensive types. :wall:

Yeah rum and coke is basically a staple when we're drinking. Which rum do you use indy? We usually get Baccardi. Oh and the Malibu coconut rum goes really well with mango juice.

 

 

 

I used to go with Admiral Nelson's vanilla rum. It was 80 proof but didn't taste like it at all, it tasted just like vanilla coke when mixed. So that caused me to get a little more drunk than usual and make an [wagon] out of my self. So now I just use any sort of spiced rum, doesn't taste quite as good but that makes it easier to drink less. Spiced rum is a little more mixable also, vanilla rum pretty much just goes with coke in my opinion. Spiced rum you can put with any sort of fruit juice pretty well, so it should go with your mango juice if you get that often.

I mostly/always drink beer. It's cheap, you don't have to drag a bunch of different bottles with you everywhere, and a cold beer in the sun is one of the best things in life. Usually I drink Dansk Fadöl (cheap while tasting great), but I also enjoy Guinness, Sierra Nevada Pale Ale (too expensive for me now though), Staropramen, Åbro, Hobgoblin, Bishop's Finger, Newcastle Brown Ale, etc.

 

 

 

As far as drinks go I used to have a thing for P2. It consists of vanilla vodka + Sourz Apple with 7up or Sprite. Vanilla vodka with Sprite works well too.

 

 

 

I like the occasional Jägermeister as well. Haven't tried the Jägerbomb though.

Yeah I can't understand how people can like light beers. We have stuff like Corona and Sol which pretty popular and probably similar - but I'm sure Bud Light is weaker still, because Budweiser original really tastes like water; or at least cheap and very watered down beer you get at [cabbage]ty pubs.

As far as I can see there is an sort of 'aging' to prefered drinks. When I started drinking I though beer was horrible, cider was just about drinkable and mixed spirits were great. Then I went through the beer / cider phase where I hated mixed spirits, now I only really drink beer. Seems to be the same with a lot of people, they start off on spirits, then onto beer / cider and after awhile they choose their own preferred drink, beer, cider or spirits etc.

Liquid Cocaines FTW!!! My fave shot by far, this is how you make them.. half shots of 151, Jagermeister, and Rummpleminze into a shaker with ice, shake it and pour. People sometimes mix ingridients but thats how i make them and i love um. Another one we drink at my work are Sake Bombs, just take chopsticks put it ontop of a mug of Saparo and put the sake shot on that, pound the table and the shot falls in and you chug away.

Well, I do drink tea, and play a little golf from time to time.

 

 

 

But honestly, if you continually get hammered, you're doing your body damage, are you not? Seriously, I hate the view of "its cheap and it gets me hammered, doesn't matter if it tastes like piss."

EDIT: Oh and the closest I come to wearing a suit is wearing a shirt and tie, which is required by school uniform. Though I ignore the part about shoes and just wear trainers, with a pair of black jeans. (Really, people just really pay attention to the whole shirt + tie thing.)

Though really, very few teenagers don't drink.

 

 

 

I'll be legal to drink in just over 7 months. Though I don't drink at the moment, and probably won't at that time, or much at least (I hate the aftertaste.)

Crown lager which is an australian premium lager.

 

 

 

Speaking of australian beers, I liked the choice I had when I was over there - Tooheys, CD, Coopers, VB and Pure Blonde. All decent beers I'd take a schooner of those over my usual pint of Tennants here. :P
