There are decent amount of people here that have been around for a while, a lot of us quit playing RS years before some in this topic probably even heard of it.

But honestly, if you continually get hammered, you're doing your body damage, are you not? Seriously, I hate the view of "its cheap and it gets me hammered, doesn't matter if it tastes like piss."

 

 

 

I'd sooner take the effects of being high than being drunk. The former which is supposed to be more enjoyable.

EDIT: Oh and the closest I come to wearing a suit is wearing a shirt and tie, which is required by school uniform. Though I ignore the part about shoes and just wear trainers, with a pair of black jeans. (Really, people just really pay attention to the whole shirt + tie thing.)

 

 

 

People like to get drunk, what's the big deal? If you don't mind the bad taste and your aim is to get drunk then buying cheap booze seems like the smart thing to do.

 

 

 

My favourite alcoholic drink is scotch with a little water, but I'm also partial to white and rose wines, gin, and the darker premium lagers. I never really got into ales or stouts.

First semester this year I would drink Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. I'd let a bottle of whatever last me that long. This semester I cut back a lot and have only drank probably 4 times but I smoke almost every night. Lost interest in drinking. But since pot is expensive and St. Cloud has been pretty dry lately for good stuff, I drink with my friends. I spend a lot of my money on pot and I don't feel like spending $20+ on a bottle or $15+ on a case. I can buy $6 worth of 40's and feel just the same as everyone else. Never said I liked the taste of it or enjoyed it one bit. I'm not an alcoholic, just spending my money wisely ;) Believe me, if I could buy expensive beer and bottles of Johnny Walker, I would be doing it haha.

Simply Rye and Pepsi or a beer works for me. I also favour most drinks with cranberry juice mixes. :

going for a 24 hour session on saturday. off to watch hatton fight and drinking through to sunday evening hopefully. only other time ive managed 24 hours was hatton maywether, but i didn't really drink a massive amount then, just a few beers and the odd redbull.

I love vodka with apple/orange juice or with redbull.

in my early days of drinking i could drink many bottles of Smirnoff Ice, Eristoff Blue, Bacardi breezer(especially lime) or anything similar =]

 

 

 

I've never liked beer and wine. They simply don't taste good to me. + the wine stinks =P

 

 

 

A couple of years ago, i could drink a lot of anything. I was usually drunk every weekend, having fun with my friends, but that is the past now.. I've had enough alcohol and i hardly ever drink now. Maybe at parties, if i'm not the one who's driving .^^

Talk of really cheap drink, i went through a phase of drinking those really crap cheap ciders (White lightning/ Diamond etc). Now i'd rather pay the bit extra for some Bulmers than buy a load of the crap stuff. Quite a lot of teenagers here drink Buckfast, fortified tonic wine. Tastes like piss but has a high alchohol % and is made by Monks.

That reminds me of a few of my ex-schoolfriends; they used to go to the cheapest shop around and bought a few tetrapaks of really cheap wine. I mean REALLY cheap. And they drank it during lessons, pretending it was just juice :P

 

 

 

But yes, cheap is usually worse. Taste wise and quality wise.. A lot of chemistry and crap like that :S

I used to put away quite a bit of Buckfast. Sometimes it tastes great, but mostly it's foul. If you drink it cold it's actually quite nice. Unfortunately, when I was a lad my bottle was always inside a sweat heated jacket while I was running from the police.

You can't go wrong with a beer after a hard days work. But if you are partying and want to get drunk quick then I prefer rum and jagerbombs.

 

But when you are with a group of mates sitting around, beer does it for me. It's just a better 'journey' so to speak.

I do the same but in more Canadian terms: used to drink a lot of cheap Labbatt Blue & Molson Ex, now I go a bit further and buy beers like Moosehead and Guinness. Sometimes at parties i'm put off by the taste of Labbatt, but after a couple of them I stop getting picky :thumbsup:

I haven't combined it with any other soda yet, but I am a huge fan of Disaronno anyway. It's an Amaretto, and it's really potent if you put ice in it. Be forewarned.

I don't like the taste of beer and I've tried a lot. The beer that tastes the best to me is corona and even that one still tastes like crap.

only two beers l like are guiness and heineken..

Vodka, Peach Tree and Orange Juice. Also, Mai Tai's rock if made properly.

Vodka is a godawful tasking drink. But then again, i really hate drinking any spirits because they really tase bad to me. Only ones i will hve are tequilla if im having slammers so the lemon can take away the aftertaste, or jagermeister because it doesent taste as bad as alot of other spirits for some reason to me.

 

 

 

I'm a cider drinker as my regular though, strongbow/bulmers (<3 their pear cider)/scrumpy jack are the best ones to get imo.
