And the noob remarks? I usually just leave them on there, I don't really care about them TBH. And it only goes off if I can't be bothered to talk to anyone and want to concentrate on something. Then I got tired of all my friends bugging me about dumb things so I kept it to OFF. For some reason the more I played RS the less tolerant I became with socializing on the game. Yes, people do bug me because I look rich and have high stats, but many of the "noobs" that people find annoying and randomly pm me are actual people who are kind. I often take my time explaining things to them and helping them (if they're not too retarted) and as a consequence many of them became pretty good friends. I tend not to judge people by their levels or being new to p2p (or the game even) but merely on their behaviour and personality. If there is a person that's really annoying though, I sometimes put the chat on friends, but that rarely happens. The only time when I have it off is when I'm studying (in test weeks).
