Solid advice right there. I cancelled my subscription and went a step furthur and sold everything that I owned. Sure, I'm rich now but I don't own anything to help me do the skills so I get bored using the crappy items.

Spent near enough the whole senior year putting off assignments/essays until the last minute. Don't do it at work much now, as there are deadlines and stuff to meet which can affect your pay cheque at the end of the week. :thumbdown:

I got an A+ on my history project in the end though cuz my teacher is stupid. She graded both parts out of 100, and the final grade was the sum of those out of like 160.

Ooh, potential bonus marks? Those are always helpful.

 

 

 

And to help cleaning a very messy room, I usually "lock" myself in and do it from start to finish or it won't get done. In other words, block the door with something you'd rather not have to move again any time soon and start across the room. It works 9 times out of 10 for me, but I'm a little odd. Music can help, too, as istolethepie said.

Also, grab the mattress and flip it on its side (as in, have it stand on the thin side) do you're not tempted to sit/lie on it.

On Friday, I have an AP Exam in American History, by far my hardest class this year. If I took it last week, I wouldn't have failed, but I would have done poorly I'm sure. I only started studying this morning, and I should be now. But I'm not.

Got 8 AS exams starting in just over 2 weeks time and I haven't done any proper revision for about 2 weeks, except in lessons. Getting constant As in the mocks is helping my confidence with the exams but probably is one of the biggest contributors to not being able to motivate myself to just sit down and do some work :|

Proctastinating right now, should have finished all the MS Access work I have to do for this semester, but I just sit here browsing and listening to music. Also should be doing my Communications assignments but my teacher for that doesn't care, as long as I had it in with enough time for her to mark it before this course ends. And then never use your bedroom for anything but sleeping. Trust me, it works. My floor is spotless, because I never do anything in there; I don't even get dressed/undressed there.

I use my room for everything. I have my Xbox, computer, homework desk, and music system in here. I'm getting a media extender so I can watch TV in here via my Xbox too, the only thing I can't do in here is produce food (I usually bring it up to my room once I make it), and go to the bathroom. It's so cozy.

My bedroom has pretty much everything i need to do stuff I like. A bed, desk, tv, xbox, laptop, microwave, mini fridge, speakers, and most of my cosmetic stuff. Plus a strobe blacklight (not very fast but still cool), glow in the dark crap, and like 3 4' black lights. I love my room.

Right now, I have 2 science assignments and 1 history assignment overdue. Nothing really serious, just about 20-30 minutes work each. Yet they've been overdue for at least 2 weeks. Easy-going teachers are awesome.

 

 

 

Honestly though, I procrastinate way too much. Yet I have an 84 average, so I'm quite fine with it. My worst experience with procrastination, however, was a month or two ago when I got up at 5 a.m. for a ski trip, got home around 5-6 p.m., waited until dinner at 7, played a hockey game at 8:45, got home around 10, and then worked on a history essay until 4 in the morning. Then woke up at 8:30, went to school, handed in the essay, came back home, and slept until 3 p.m. Actually, that was pretty fun, because of the ski trip.

When I get a house I won't even bother with a bedroom at first, I have seen some lounges that mum won't let me lie on in stores because she knows I'll go to sleep if I do...

Right now it's 6:20am. I have the first of my summer exams in my law degree starting at 1:30pm. As of now I am yet to start revising for it. I am like this for every exam/coursework, and I never learn not to do this. I am the essence of procrastination.

I am actually procrastinating right now. I should be answering questions about the book I'm reading for school. But its soooo boring. :wall:
