That is even better. does that include the herbs that died? cause i feel like i usually get more than 6 per healthy plant Yeah, it does. It's more like 7.3/seed not counting deaths, an average of 34/herb run (my arm's patch doesn't die).
May 7, 200917 yr My best was 20 dwarf weeds, I'm 600k from 99, done mostly on herbs in this time (2 years, few runs allmost every day) i only got 20 one single time. Didn't thought it was even possible. I estimate my avarage to be between 6,5-6,9 herbs per seed including deaths.

May 8, 200917 yr Well, from sweetcorn, I have gotten 22 of an allotment. Tough 22 for an allotment patch doesn't seem to be the maximum. As goes for herbs: Currently farming toadflax, having an average of around 6 like most others. Maximum so far has been 12. I haven't seen anything higher myself, but maximum does go higher. It is just very rare. As goes for herbs, using magic secrateur + super compost always gives a yield of 5! That is a downright minimum. Reason why average yield isn't higher is because plants die. Going to start with snapdragon soon again after My arm's quest, hopefully they bring me more luck :D Keep em records coming!
May 8, 200917 yr wow i'm sorry for going off topic but your sig is [bleep]ing sick... and 99 doing herbs? making a hard skill even harder =D> tnx, a friend made it, i like it too. \ i don't find farming to be a hard skill at all, all you need is to have access to a computer on wich you can run rs so you can do a run that takes 6 min every hour and 15 - 20 min. i'm not really happy with the "beeing stuck in the office" part of my job, but i can do farm runs, anything else on rs is too much of a distraction. i noticed that herbs die A LOT less after 95ish farming :thumbup: - one would expect it to be like that, but still nice ;)

I have only ever done 2 days of watermelons, but yeah I did notice the yields are quite high. I think I got 55 off once patch, but that might be off by a bit cause I had to drop them every 10-15 :P
May 8, 200917 yr 47? some of the harvests from watermelons ive gotten make this very believable. i get enough watermelons to fill 2 compost bins every once in a while. 99 Fishing

If we were to say that I was "very, very unlucky" and the chance of getting more than 13 herbs is one in fifty, then we can figure this out. Since to average 15-18 would require every herb to be in that 13-22 range, and he said he did herb runs once every 3 days, then we have 28 seeds planted. To get a yield higher than 13 given a 1/50 chance of yielding this, and then doign it 28 times in a row would require a .02^28 roll. The outcome is 2.68 X10-48, or that there is a 0.0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000268 percent chance of accomplishing this. Think about those odds like this. If you had one toothpick in a pile for every person in the world (6 billion), and got one pick, you would have to pick the correct toothpick FIVE TIMES IN A ROW before the event became less unlikely than catching a 1/50 draw 28 times in a row. As an edit, I increased the odds to 1/10 of getting a better yield than 13 to counter the argument that I'm simply historically unlucky.
