You're worse than 3HU.

I heard some stuff aswell, but I cant say either.

All I can say is middle manager are two words that might pop up somewhere in the event. :P

Holiday events are always my least favorite times of the year.

Sadly, I agree. I would be happier if the easter bunny just handed out the items.

I'll join the group. I just do them to get them out of the road, then destroy the items. They used to be epic, but now I hate them.

T_T i hate runescape holidays.

but I try to make the most of it.

Jagex has this bad habit of beta testing future content on low level content (tower of life, holiday events)

remember the halloween event where the grim reaper made you go down a slide... twice? <_< gf Jagex.

I guess it's nice that they're involving us in the beta testing.

But seriously... I think we'd be a lot more eager if they effectively advertised the beta testing as a good thing, instead of covering it up.

They advertised tower of life as a huge beta test, but the whole affair was rather half hearted.

I don't expect to see anything different this year.

So it's like what? 4 weeks since an update geared at people who pay the most of Jagex's wages?

Are those who play two or three months, quit and never become high level really the majority?

Items that carried information on them, instead of the player(remember how they didn't stack in your bank?..)

So it's like what? 6 days since an update geared at people who pay the most of Jagex's wages?

^ This.

I fixed it for you. :)

Well, by saying the quest aimed for low levels is the majority of Jagex's profits you are wrong. People who have paid membership for years count for more than a larger number of low level players who have maybe only paid 1-2 months of membership, if that. Many high levels have paid for years, and their money accounts for far more than the majority.

It's been a hell of a ride.

"Hi, I'm a high level."

"Hi, I'm a low level. There are twenty of me for every one of you."

"Yea, well my $5 is still worth more than yours. I even pay less per month, because I was here when it cost less. You see, players like me who joined a long time ago are worth more, because we are more likely to quit out of boredom, reaching high level blocks, completing a lot of the content, seeing changes in the game, or other reasons, but that just makes it more important to keep us over someone who just joined a couple months ago and still has a good couple years before they run out of content."

"...But your status says retired." emot-geno.gif

"Now you're starting to get it."

I believe DenUsynlige meant that Fish Flingers was the last update for everyone. Of course, unless you're already 200mil EXP in fishing, or you can't count

I think easter doesn't have the festive feel to it among the three festive events in RuneScape. It would have been good to release the easter event along with a main game content, so that there's double the things to celebrate about. And seeing that the event items from past few events served as an alternative to older items (Eek to yoyo, carrot club to rubber chicken...), I think this one might be giving out something for the neck slot.

Looks like they did provide an alternative for an old event item, but not the scarves and hats. It's the squirrel ears this time.

As much as I would love to flame/argue/debate here, it detracts from the point of this thread. Simply put, Jagex has slowed down quality content updates considerably in the last few months. I think I am not the only one who would be slightly annoyed if I signed up to Members and so far have only received a F2P starter quest, and an inefficient, time consuming distraction. Anyone else want to argue? PM me and I would love to continue.

I agree with the slowed down content. If you're talking about from the beginning of the year then don't forget NR, Strykewyrms, and trade limits though. However I do totally agree with you about members having been neglected recently.

Reacting impulsively and saying what's on your mind feels oh so good.. for a little, until you realize you just started WWIII.
