It seems a lot of users seem to have some sort of chan inspired signature or avatar, how many of you are willing to admit to being /b/rothers in arms?

I occasionally go on /b/ but only every couple weeks, if I'm really bored I'll go on, but for the most part I hate 4chan. Creeps me out.

/b/ is simply scum. Last topic we had on 4chan got deleted (although that was after a spambot posted bizarre porn links on it).

 

 

 

I've gone to /b/ 3 times in my life. I regret it.

I seem to be getting some deja vu....

2chan (the original one) is the only non-[cabbage]hole chan. There's actual intelligence on it.

Something I noticed is that 4chan gets a lot of propaganda from other internet communities (TIF). I hate how individuality doesn't exist there though. I'm not a sheep, so that doesn't really appeal to me. There are some interesting things on there though. I remember looking at the death GIF's... Let's just say I'll never cross a street without looking both ways ever again.

I saw a suicide gif thread a couple weeks ago, a lot of people like to jump off buildings. It was pretty interesting to see.

Yep, that's the one I'm talking about, but it evolved into a general death thread with lots of cars and guns. I was really sickened by the man who pushed another guy down onto the tracks of a subway, right when the train was about to come. It made me hungry for justice.

Well aside from being scared from doing so by hearing about nothing but the worst... :lol:

 

I do get my fill from Tip.Iters and one Truthscape thread, though.

I like calling 24 scenes on /tv/ when new episodes are playing. People yell at me to give me instructions to my time machine... I just watched too much 24 for my own good I suppose.

I barely if ever actually browse the chans myself, but a good sum of my friends do, and I get natural spillover from them. Besides, you don't have to be ananymous to understand half of all the lulz that are being had. I do however browse encyclopediadramatica fairly often.

Then on a side note, Encyclopaedia Dramatica's take on Runescape, Harsh but fair or unfairly heavy-handed?

/b/ isn't as bad as everyone says it. All I hear is "Ohhh /b/... It's a [bleep]ing sick scum hole..." and things of the sort. It's only if you go on there like... 5 times a day that you will start to see some bad [cabbage] like that. Everyone saying it's a complete scum hole has probably just been there one or three times, and therefore has little right to say.

I was a big channer a year back after getting unfairly kicked off my last forum (horrible, horrible admins). I was all hungry for something better and bigger and stumbled on ED and the rest fell in there. I rarely go on /b/ much now though.

 

 

 

As for ED you should really take it all without being serious, even if you adore Runescape to the core you should try and laugh at the article, it makes some valid points really too. You just do things to get gold which allows you to do more things to get more gold.

I've only been on it once or twice, and that was from extreme boredom. Didn't make me laugh, just realise how messed up some people are.

Been on /b/ a few times, but I just stick with ED.
