Wingless
Recently, whilst scowering - I found this. I CBA to screenie it, but luckily the RSWiki had a nice image: Doesn't it look like a Human with wings.... or the Dragonkin? (This one's wings are folded, but it does have them!) That's what the Dragonkin look like - any resemblances? Future update, or just harmless scenery? Here's a quick paint-version of how the bones could possibly fit:

Danqazmlp
Looks to me like its part of a greater demon skeleton, would be a good explination, as thats what's now there. Want to be my friend? Riptide Mage
Manbearbatpig You make it sound like running through a few level 87 monsters is hard which it really shouldn't be at your level.

strilmus
Well, considering that demons turn to ash when they are killed, I do not think there would be enough to reanimate anything.
warren211
Looks to me like its part of a greater demon skeleton, would be a good explination, as thats what's now there. but greater demons turn to ash when they die, not bones. The dragonkin idea sounds reasonable considering that they are probably closely tied with the wilderness and whatnot. This makes me realize how few times Jagex has spur-of-the-moment updates. Everything is thought out so early that they have time to add storyline hints like the Dragonkin to updates as simple as releasing more monsters. [hide=]tip it would pay me $500.00 to keep my clothes ON :( :lol:But then again, you fail to realize that 101% of the people in this universe hate you. Yes, humankind's hatred against you goes beyond mathematical possibilities. That tears it. I'm starting an animal rebellion using my mind powers. If this had to do anything with the Simpsons, it's more likely it's the "angel". ^^ (Ep. Lisa the Skeptic) OT: It does look like dragonkin to me, but I believe this isn't anything new. I remember seeing such skeletons in other places of the wilderniss for over 4 years now. I'll make a screenie if i happen to stumble across one int he future. darksonic45
I think this has been discussed before... I remember someone finding out the Dragonkin skeleton was near an old wilderness Dragonkin base.

Thunderducke
Jagex said they were adding multiple types of skeletons to the now abandoned bh crater, so it seems normal to me. As for looking like a dragonkin, I see the resemblence. .....I just hope the monster that killed the dragonkin isn't in there. :ohnoes: I assure you this is not a sig. But all it really proves is that the wilderness is further connected to the Dragonkin. We can't infer anything else at this point. ~It's Super Effective! JoeDaStudd
When I first looked at it I though gargoyle or Vyrewatch, but it lacks the arms. Does look to me like its the only npc we know of with the same bone structure. Nice find. Will H
The Dragonkin have claws at the end of the winged arms, this skeleton does not. Also, the body structure doesn't quite match. The neck on the skeleton is too short, and the forearms should be longer. The skull doesn't match well either, it's too humanish, I think we'd know if we were looking at a dragonkin skull. I suggest this creature is...was more bird-like than dragon-like, but as to what it actually was, I dunno. ~ W ~
walka92
go examine the skeleton yourself, i wonder what it says... could this have been one of the ancient dragonkin? I'm gonna be walking down an alley in varrock, and walka is going to walk up to me in a trench coat and say "psst.. hey man, wanna buy some sara brew"walka92- retired with 99 in attack, strength, defence, health, magic, ranged, prayer and herblore and 137 combat. some day i may return to claim 138 combat, but alas, that time has not yet come
occ51
It says this when examined: "Could this have been one of the ancient Dragonkin?"
Kimberly
It could also be a skeleton of a Wyvern. From what I've always known, Dragonkin had arms and hindlegs. :-k
Jard_Y_Dooku
The examine gives it away. I think we can agree that Jagex simply wasn't critical about the design of the skeleton exactly matching that of other Dragonkin in the game. Never trust anyone. You are always alone, and betrayal is inevitable.Nothing is safe from the jaws of the decompiler.

Pirate_Felix
All you guys going like: its missing hands who said it was a complete skeleton? it can be partial, but anyways its dragonkin.
