Hawks
If you're ever in Carlsbad, you HAVE to go to LEGOLAND. Um for Michigan though... Go to Taquamenon (probably spelled wrong) Falls and walk from the lower to the upper for the heck of it See Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore Go to Mackinac Island and go to Mighty Mac's Burgers (and buy some fudge) Go to Enchanted Knights in Mackinaw City Go to the Michigan Renaissance Festival in Holly Go to Isle Royale Drive over the Mackinac Bridge Go to PJ Hoffmaster State Park, NOT Grand Haven State Park Visit all four Great Lakes MI borders (Michigan, Huron, Superior, and Erie) Visit the Musical Fountain in Grand Haven Eat at Ray's, Butch's Beach Burritos, Fricano's, and Clover Bar in Grand Haven Go to Sault St. Marie and see the Soo Locks Visit the Kewenaw Peninsula (in the UP) and go to a mine/visit MI Tech's rock museum Go to Ontonagon because it's fun to say and also visit the Porcupine Mountains. Hike to the Lake in the Clouds while you're there. Oh and if you happen to be in Grand Rapids... Visit the Fredrick Meijer Gardens, the Public Museum, the Grand Rapids Art Museum (they have an awesome new building), the Gerald R. Ford Museum, the Children's Museum (if there happen to be small children with you), and visit Rosa Parks Circle (especially in the winter, ice skating for a dollar and free skate rentals) Lansing, go to the Impressions 5 Science Center. It's epic. Detroit, go to a Wings game and the Detroit Institute of Art. I've been almost everywhere in Michigan. The only thing we've got going for us is the landscape and the resultant tourism industry. sig by Soa.....tip.it times.....art & mediadeviantart/flickr/last.fm/steam/twitter/tumblr/youtube
Latinoking
If you're ever in Birmingham*, AL... - You HAVE to go to an Alabama or Auburn (preferable UA vs AU) football game. College football is HUGE in the South, and the Alabama/Auburn rivalry is legendary - probably one of the grittiest you'll ever find. And Alabama/Auburn? Pshaw. The UT-A&M rivalry is grittier than that. And that's the baby rivalry. U of M - Ohio State rivalry > ALL Voted top rivalry by ESPN. If you're ever in Carlsbad, you HAVE to go to LEGOLAND. Different good or different [bleep]ing boring ? Adrenal have you been to Adelaide? It's pretty boring. The best things we have Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane have better.. nerdattack16
And Alabama/Auburn? Pshaw. The UT-A&M rivalry is grittier than that. And that's the baby rivalry. Lenty, you don't understand. People get SHOT for rooting for the wrong team. My friend got jumped and the crap was beat out of him by a group of Alabama fans who heard him criticize Saban. LIVES are LOST over this rivalry. Families are torn apart. Friendships are broken. Hell, I've heard stories of MARRIAGES being torn apart over it. Sig credit goes to ThruItAll. :D

Da_Latios
Hmm well let's see... If you're ever in Brisbane, you absolutely have to... -watch the Southbank fireworks -visit Southbank (preferably before watching the fireworks (you don't actually have to go there to watch the fireworks)) -walk along the Goodwill Bridge, and visit The Gardens -go rock-climbing (and abseiling) -go on a cruise -visit Queen Street Mall, and hang around under the glass piazza for the occasional artist/band that pops up -ride your bike along the river/s and over the bridge/s (walking is boring) I guess that's about it. unkn0wnwarrior
If you're ever in Watford (not the one in England, the one in Ontario... Yes... it exists... No... it's not on most maps...), you absolutely HAVE to eat at Serge's Pizzeria! Wait... new owners... never mind... Throw stones at the water tower? It was about the only thing fun to do, I think... But don't bother looking me up, as I don't live there anymore. And note the lack of ANY fast food chain, and/or coffee giant. Seriously... A Canadian town without a Tim Horton's? What gives?
