If you're ever in Miami, Florida; you absolutely HAVE to go to the beach! Whatever happens afterwards is up to you. I suggest going to Larios on Ocean Drive. Awesome Cuban food.

If you're ever in New York City; you absolutely HAVE to go see the Yankees! America's Pastime.

If you're ever in New York City; you absolutely HAVE to go to Grimaldi's Pizzeria. Best pizza in NYC!

If you're ever in Canada, enjoy that Cuban Cigar you can't enjoy in the States.

There's nothing for Michigan. Unless you want to see people lose their job from the poor auto industry. :|

If you're ever in Baldwin, Wisconsin, you absolutely have to go to Cady Cheese Factory. Every Tuesday they have fresh cheese curds. They're still warm and the squeak when you eat them. If you've never had cheese curds THAT fresh, you haven't enjoyed cheese in its best form.

Yeah, I know...I'm from Wisconsin.

If you're ever in DC, find something that isn't a landmark and doesn't make you look like a tourist. But good luck with that.

If you're ever in DC, and decide to forego my previous advice, don't contact any family here. Whatever you're about to go see, we've seen it. 50 times. Yes, even that.

The smithsonian and the air and space museum aren't bad. But dammit, whenever family visits they always want to see lincoln -.-

You're right, especially the Air and Space Museum isn't bad. The first few times.

I actually love the monuments, as well as the museums. The thing is, my parents always want to spend hours looking at the Jefferson Memorial -.- Until it gets the use it has in Fallout 3, it's not worth all that time in one spot.

Get back here so I can rub your butt.

Should you end up in my neck of the woods in Clarksville, TN, just escape.

There is absolutely nothing here worthy of mention, except a mall, but even then there's little to mention.

I was going to eat hot dogs for dinner tonight. I think I will settle for cereal.

OPEN WIDE HERE COMES THE HELICOPTER.

If you're ever in Plymouth Mass., ignore Plymouth Rock. It's a 4 foot by 4 foot boulder in a pit surrounded by pennies. Seriously... not worth it. However, if you do choose to come, The Plimoth Plantation is a very nice outdoor museum using actors from around the area to preserve the 1620's. The Mayflower isn't too bad I suppose... even though it's not the real Mayflower, but a replica made in the 1950's.

I've always felt as if I'm the only person who can understand the concept of sarcasm on the internet.

Everyone should quit [bleep]ing about where they live. I mean, I know I cant speak for all of you but - you probably dont want to live there for a few other reasons like friends or family [or lack of]. But you should stop thinking of your hometown as a boring place, everywhere is boring so long as you live there for an amount of time.

Even in Sydney, where I live - isn't really a cultural hub. So yeah, I mean I'd love to go away and live at your place just to experience some change - but that doesn't mean I hate where I live. :|

Also Lenin, you live in the US ?!

I wish you people would stop ranting about Washington DC. I bet you haven't even been in the archives. Or the new JFK museum. You [Lenin] get bored too easily. I could spend months in DC. And I've been there a fair few times.

Also, if your ever in Sydney you :

  • [*:1fjcqukl]Should not go to the Blue Mountains - boring.

[*:1fjcqukl] Should drive to Canberra, purely to see Cockington Green. [Google that]

[*:1fjcqukl] Do not go to Luna Park - also boring

[*:1fjcqukl] You should walk from the Harbour Bridge to the Opera House - [for the "heck" of it]

[*:1fjcqukl] You must catch a ferry from the Quay

[*:1fjcqukl] You should go to Taronga Zoo

[*:1fjcqukl] Lastly visit some good beaches. Not the big ones like Manly and Dee Why but smaller ones.

If your ever in Wiltshire, England, you have to visit Stonehenge!

(but really, please don't. We get enough American/Chinese/German tourists already!)

If you're ever in Limestone, you have to drive south for about six hours before you find anything worth looking at, unless you want to go into canada, in which case you need to drive north for about the same amount of time to get anywhere interesting. Or you could watch the extreme LARPing at the school there, which is the largest building in the area.

You are like a three legged cat. Everyone hates you and thinks you are ugly until, one day, they realize that you're cuter than all of the other cats. And you're fluffy too. I'm so glad I petted you.

I've always wondered: If there's offensive language, than there should be Defensive Language. But I've never encountered it. If it does exist, what would it entail? Being painstakingly polite in such a manner that infuriates another?

Have you been in the IMAX theater there? That's where I saw the Dark Knight, it was awesome.

If you're ever in NW London, you absolutely have to:

Go to thorpe park

Go to Woburn Trails

Go to Camden

So don't let anyone tell you you're not worth the earth,

These streets are your streets, this turf is your turf,

Don't let anyone tell you that you've got to give in,

Cos you can make a difference, you can change everything,

Just let your dreams be your pilot, your imagination your fuel,

Tear up the book and write your own damn rules,

Use all that heart, hope and soul that you've got,

And the love and the rage that you feel in your gut,

And realise that the other world that you're always looking for,

Lies right here in front of us, just outside this door,

And it's up to you to go out there and paint the canvas,

After all, you were put on the earth to do this,

So shine your light so bright that all can see,

Take pride in being whoever the [bleep] you want to be.

I could spend months in DC.

I have.

DC is an exciting place, don't get me wrong, but it wears down after awhile. There's only so many exhibits in the museums (although I haven't been the JFK museum, next time I'm downtown), the monuments are only awe-inspiring so many times, security will only put up with you jumping in the Reflecting Pool after a few attempts....and when people come to visit, they only want to see the big stuff. I.e, Lincoln, Jefferson, Washington, and the various war memorials. Sometimes the Capitol and Smithsonian. But me? I've been all up and through that place. Which is why I said before, try and find something else that isn't a great big landmark or monument.

And where did you think I was from?

No.

I thought you were Asian [are you ?] and I also thought you lived in Singapore.

Yeah. I agree with you there. I've been to the Air and Space at least 3 times. Though the museum at Dulles is good.

And where did you think I was from?

Russia.

I was looking forward to reading things to do in Russia, too.

Anyway, if you're ever in Fontana, get the [bleep] out and get the 10 Freeway west. Head to Los Angeles and visit Hollywood or something.

Asian Lenin? That's a new one.

If you're ever in Boston:

-Walk the Freedom Trial. FREEDOM BABY, FREEDOM. But really, so much of the American Revolution happened around here, so there are some good historical sites.

-Have clam chowder. There's no clam chowder like Bostonian clam chowder.

-Visit a Dunkin' Donuts. I'm sure they exist all over the world. I've seen them in Taiwan. But DD's was founded in Massachusetts.

And if you're ever in Taipei (I have no clue why you would be there, but whatever...):

-Go to the top (at least the 89th floor) of the Taipei 101. Oh come on - it's the tallest completed skyscraper as of now...You can't miss it.

-Go to the Miramar Entertainment Park. There's a wheel thingy there, Taipei's equivalent to the London Eye. There's also a movie theater, where I saw The Dark Knight and HP5. Oh, and my uncle helped design/overlook construction of the place.

-Go to Danshui at sunset. You won't regret it. (That picture doesn't come close to capturing the epicness - I have a picture that my sister took, but it's not on this computer, I might upload it later)

Nah, then I'd be Mao64 or something. Maybe this means I make too many asian jokes....nah.

Dulles is actually pretty good, I was there a few weeks ago, first visit there actually. So maybe the gold vein hasn't quite run out. The Enola Gay is there, and a lot of old Japanese and German planes that are supposedly the last of their kind. And of course, the highly popularized SR-71 Blackbird made famous by Transformers. They've even got a little Transformers exhibit near the Blackbird.

Oh whoops, I meant Dulles, not Air and Space :P I've been there four times I think. Pretty cool place. Also the restaurants in D.C. are pretty good. I especially like the brewery across the street from Union Station. Even though the tourist places are boring, D.C.'s still pretty cool, with all its history and other stuff that goes on there.

If you're ever in Birmingham*, AL...

- You HAVE to eat at the Highlands Bar and Grill. One of the top restaurants in the nation.

- You HAVE to go to an Alabama or Auburn (preferable UA vs AU) football game. College football is HUGE in the South, and the Alabama/Auburn rivalry is legendary - probably one of the grittiest you'll ever find.

- You HAVE to take the day trip to Alabama Adventure. It's not the biggest or best theme park, but it is home to the Rampage, frequently ranked as one of the top wooden roller coasters in the nation.

*I actually live in Helena, and I couldn't think of anything for that so I used Birmingham metro area.

If you're ever in Helena, AL then you have to visit me. :P I'll take you to some good places to eat!

If you're ever in Edgewood Maryland, just head about 20 miles west to Baltimore, or another 30 or so to DC, not much in Edgewood.

If you're ever in Orem Utah, you just have to hike(or teleport ) up to the big Y on the mountainside above BYU for a beautiful view of Utah Valley. Then up near Salt Lake, stop by Eat-A-Burger in Holladay. Their spicy fries are so good. And of course, there's Temple Square in Salt Lake too.

Well, I'd go to Helena just to have the 13th best place to raise my kids!

And Alabama/Auburn? Pshaw. The UT-A&M rivalry is grittier than that. And that's the baby rivalry.

catch it now so you can like it before it went so mainstream
