My top scientists have been working on a top-secret project for the past few months and it is nearing completion. Perhaps I shall reveal some key details at the first New World Order meeting next year (real time: my tomorrow morning, or in 6 hours from this post) in New York, the newly appointed Capital of the World. I have a liking in how the USA's new leader is running things, and I trust he will not murder the members of this council when we assemble to discuss world matters (which will start 6 hours from this post and continue until the next day).

 

 

 

woo i'm liked! i personally think it's because i haven't posted on this thread billions of times and when i do post it's always informative and such. all this military stuff from wikipedia seems useless to me, as there aren't any wars going on and it doesn't really matter.

 

 

 

i'll be posting an update tomorrow about how this whole greener energy thing is working, we're close to a breakthrough.

wikipedia military stuff just kind of shows off our countries if we wish to attract allies, and there's always the possibility of future war/conflict.

True, but for right now people haven't put troops through training programs or advanced their military. It kind of gives of general idea of how strong of a country it is, although there are many other factors that haven't been put into play yet.

Anyways unless the person who originally took Finland comes back with a plan I will take it.

 

 

 

I plan to put a bit of money in the navy but my main focus will be continuing research and production of electronics and hire more foresters but properly train them so that the end result isn't massive deforestation.

 

 

 

I will try to keep the poverty rates low by not taxing low-income families. Many jobs will be opened up in factories so that everyone has the chance to get a job. The welfare system will only apply to people who go before a judge and based on circumstances (being a single parent, sickness, etc.) they will be granted some money.

 

 

 

Finland will be peaceful country and not go out of its way to harm another country. A high priority will be helping organizations that help people in poverty ridden areas by sending food and building schools, etc. We will donate excess money to the scientists in Hawaii to supply the malaria and AIDs vaccine to help people in Africa.

 

 

 

This is just a base plan for now and if anyone has additional useful information about Finland it would be highly appriceated.

I have a proposal for the other SAR members. We split it into 4 different states. Brazil and the smaller northern states, Greater Argentina, Nothern Province (Columbia, northern peru, and ecuador), and then the central state, including the southern half of peru, and bolivia. Eagle will control the northern one, Lent get's argentina, and I get brazil. Central is shared. Sound fair to all SAR members?

 

 

 

Also, Malaria and AIDS have now been eradicated from the SAR. It took a good amount of time to get vaccines out to everyone, but a year after we received them, those diseases are a thing of the past.

 

 

 

The first T99 MBT has been completed, with a T96 expected to be completed next month.

 

 

 

And about the military numbers, even though SAR has one of the largest militaries in the world, it still is suffering from lack of training for some armies, and antiquated weapons and vehicles. All these are being addressed however.

 

 

 

And to meol and riku, now that you have formed an alliance, you can start taking over countries near you, but if someone who joins wants one of the captured countries, they can take it from you.

 

And sorry about that caroman, I know how annoying it is to make the lists. Maybe you can help me in the future. Right now I would suggest trying to joining the EC, since that might become powerful soon.

You can only have Italy for now. I believe soon enough, we'll be allowed to unleash our armies, claiming the unclaimed land. Then you can take Austria and Switzerland, assuming no one else takes them.

 

 

 

Meol, I simply don't want to see you at the other end of a battlefield, and would much rather have you beside me, especially since we seemed to have similar ideals. But now that you have your EC (took long enough for something to happen in Europe...), I'll let you be. We'll let this play out and see what happens, I suppose.

It was determined that for now you can't claim more than one country for yourself, so people don't come complaining that the country they wanted was taken by someone who had more than one, etc. But you can still have the EC, which others may want to join.

i'd like to propose an alliance with canada, if it goes through i will make all "canada is america's hat" comments punishable with fines, then putting the fine money towards canadian charities. we can share resources and information, have our scientists coordinate with yours on stuff too.

Wonderful, as I am now officially confirmed to be the overlord of Japan, I shall begin the process.

 

 

 

Firstly, the current unemployment rate in Japan is 5.2%. The labour force consisted of 67 million in 2001, however this was shrinking. I shall assume it has shrunk to around 63 million, and with the unemployment level at 5.2%, this gives me around 3.5 million workers to use on both the creation of "land" (more on this later) and the forestry plan.

 

 

 

The forestry plan is simple.

 

We cut, we sell, we replant. While the total profit is not as high as I had hoped, the sudden rush of workers to previously uninhabited land causes working towns to pop up in the small areas within the forests that are habitable. This has numerous effects. Firstly, there is a slight decrease in the density of the population in major cities. The appearance of the towns also bolsters the economy a little.

 

 

 

The "land" will be floating buildings and such, a little bit more extreme than venice. To prevent them falling over so to say, a giant wall of some sort must be built in the water surrounding Japan. I must emplore the leaders of the world to see this as merely an economical and social move, not an act of war (even in defence).

As I stated in my original plan, this cannot be allowed to continue. There is a slight loophole, as the SDF (Self-Defence Forces) are defined as the "highest organ of state power". I will carry this loop hole forwards, changing the law to allow more personnel, more weapons and more research. Japan will not be a push over.

 

 

 

Furthermore, in an attempt to hurry the pace of the building and timber work existing in Japan, I am opening my arms to the first country with a labour surplus, suggesting a trade exchange. I offer work to your citizens, and in return you agree to support me should a threat arise. However, I stress that Japanese citizens will be thought of first where jobs are available.

 

 

 

This will of course all be funded by the Japanese economy, which is the "second largest" in the world. With my new plans, I hope to push the US off their pedastal and establish Japan as number one.

Luxembourg, despite its new fund lust for expansion, will accept the invitation to the EU Confederacy. On the follwing terms:

 

1. All imports are to be tarriffed.

 

2. All exports (the diamonds we "obtained" from Zimbabuay) are to be sold in large quantities with no questions asked.

 

3. Full military protection, mutual of course, as I control the pope due to my take over of Vatican City) I feel I have a fair amount to offer in this category.

 

4. I would also like any land connecting my colonies to my main land. Even if it's only a few miles wide. I wouldn't want to end up like the Roman Empire would I?

Hmm, as the ruler of China, I think I may want to ally with Japan to assure I wouldn't get blown away by the newly rising forces, plus it's helpful to have another Asian country nearby. Although being an ally with SAR still gives me confidence.

When you control the pope, you control all catholics, not just the locals. I sent in all 800 Luxembourg troops, using a borrowed NATO aircraft, and 50 Pope guards as reinforcements. The 8% of Zimbabuay used lots of guerilla warfare and are still fighting the good fight as we speak. I do not completely control Zimbabwe, but it's only a matter of time before other Catholics around the world conform to the Pope's whim and win him his beloved Zimbabwe. There aren't a lot of Catholics in Africa at all. We crusading to change that and save a few sould. Why not pick up a few diamonds while we're there?

 

 

 

I may not hold the territory long anyway, pending the negotiations of Luxembourgs entrance into the EU Confederacy. And that's before you consider no one officically held the territory to begin with. I'm first to claim it, even if it is through invasion. No one has stopped me yet...

Vatican is in its own independant country (and has been since 1929). I used NATO's borrowed plane (shared with Belgium, another unclaimed country) to airlift my 800 troops into the city, which was an easy take over.
