ok, so having read like 5 pages that got posted overnight and while i was at work (complete pain in the [wagon] btw) i've decided to do this:

 

#1 drill alaska for more oil so i don't have to depend on other oil producing countries as much while i'm still working on developing alternatives to gasoline

 

#2 i'll remove troops from germany as joe asked, if i have troops in your country ask and if you have a good enough reason to want them removed i'll go ahead and remove them

#4 i'd like to advance stem cell research in the united states, so i'm lifting all restrictions on stem cell research except for human cloning, that is still forbidden. the growth of organs for transplants and such are all allowed though.

What's more important is forming an economic alliance, mostly in regards to oil. Russia is the biggest non-OPEC oil exporter, with Norway being the second biggest non-OPEC. We should work on creating another oil cartel, as mentioned in my other posts. The South American coalition hopefully will eventually join us on this.

The only reason why I am letting Lent and Doom take over South America is because I do not expect anyone to come into this thread and whine that they didn't have their chance to claim Peru, Paraguay or Bolivia.

 

 

 

That being said, if anyone is from Peru or Bolivia wishes to rule their homeland, I would have to force Lent and Doom to make them their ally. I want more posts like Doom's, which do not alter his power or his territory size but instead gives me insight on how he's running things. I think we're going to go with the south american republic. Though it might change, I think we can be referred to as that for now. It might change also if a central american or any other country outside of south america joins us.

I may have singled out the wrong person indeed, and for that I am sorry (hands indy a handful of AIDs vaccines). I'm just trying to avoid people going on a spree and deciding to conquer countries that may or may not be occupied sooner or later, which is what I assumed you were doing with the Scandinavian countries. The only reason why I am lenient with Lent and Doomsayer (although I have warned them not to go overboard) is because even combined, all of South America makes less than most Northern countries.

 

 

 

I just want to slow things down a little, which is why I have ordered the SAR campaign to halt it's expansion at Colombia and Venezuela. For the time being, Rocco will only occupy Libya and Egypt in hopes that another brave leader will step in with plans for helping African countries. We're currently working on improving our agricultural technology. Even though we can produce several agriculture, we're working trying new agriculture on our lands and also hybridizing some such as the Pomelit. We're currently trying to produce the pineapple in our greenhouses as we want to be more independent and rely on ourselves for crops. Well, I'll need to see if Nick agrees, but generally a lot of ruralization. People are leaving the cities for the nearly free land in the Pampas and Patagonia and building small farms. Most people are growing enough to survive, and many are turning the rest of their land into farms for wind, solar, or other green power sources. Many disgusting lakes in the Buenos Aires region are being studied for possibilities of using the algae in them for power. The military is almost 400,000 active personnel strong now, and the Air Force has doubled in size, while the Navy has almost quadrupled. Ship routes around the Cape are being monitored due to very plausible pirate activity, and rail routes are being built between the Atlantic and Pacific.

Alright, I understand now. My plan was something along the lines of "due to the lack of strong leadership in Sweden, Norway has decided to oversee administration of both countries under one rule". Then I was going to ally with Finland and Denmark. Finland and Sweden have both been claimed already, just nothing done about them. Then after all of this I was going to stipulate that none of the expansion would be legally binding if strong leadership showed up, a peaceful annexation would be a peaceful separation. Basically meaning if someone claimed the country and did something with it I would cede all control over it, and break all alliances until they wish to re-ally.

 

 

 

But it's probably better just to wait a few days for everyone to show up. If they see my color on the map over the countries they may assume too much.

 

 

 

BTW, any thought to giving command of the first few NWO spaceflights to a Norwegian? ;) For now under current budget I propose an ISS type of venture, except instead of it being weightless we simulate gravity through rotation of a large circular spacestation. The south american republic needs newer military technology, especially planes and tanks. We don't really have any main battle tanks that aren't from the 50s over here.

 

A few JH-10 and 11's and su30 planes, along with the schematics to build them, as well as a few t99 and t96 tanks, along with the schematics. We would even pay for the price of the planes and tanks (around 100 million usd for all, or less, I think). This would bring our military to the 21st century. Or atleast late 20th, haha.

 

In exchange we can export energy in various forms to you for cheap, plus discounts on other exports from us.

 

Plus, I imagine the SAR is the fastest growing world power at this point, though that will slow down soon enough, our gdp now is a rival for most of the superpowers in the world.
