Yes you may make multiple alliances, try keeping it down to 'teams of three'. Since I have imposed anti-conquering laws for the time being, I guess you guys deserve the advantage of making early alliances. That's what I figured, but I didn't want the whole idea to turn into a big alliance v. other big alliance thing.

 

 

 

 

The south american republic needs newer military technology, especially planes and tanks. We don't really have any main battle tanks that aren't from the 50s over here.

 

A few JH-7 and su30 planes, along with the schematics to build them, as well as a few t99 and t96 tanks, along with the schematics. We would even pay for the price of the planes and tanks (around 100 million usd for all, or less, I think). This would bring our military to the 21st century. Or atleast late 20th, haha.

 

In exchange we can export energy in various forms to you for cheap, plus discounts on other exports from us.

 

Fair deal, we've got an alliance. Latinoking, say what's in the offer for me and you say your needs that I could possibly fulfill. I might accept it.

My hostile takeover of Vatican city is now complete. I now control both Luxembourg and Vatican City. Which, in turn gives me control of the Pope. I command all catholics to overthrow the government in Zimbabuay by any means, then relinquishing it's powr to myself. Whoever controls that portion of Africa better be ready to counter a revolution. All catholics will now generate money (through their occupations in their respective contries) and give it all to myself for further world conquest. I'll post my next revolution tommorow.

Cool, currently in the real world Russia is studying what Norway is doing with oil anyhow, so there won't be any changes there. As stated in my other posts Nopec isn't the most profitable way to run it, unless of course international laws are created to curb emissions. Then Nopec will just have been ahead of the curve. However with the amount of oil Russia has you will have no problem making good amounts of money.

Norway is in a better condition than many countries (second highest GDP per capita, the recession hardly affected Norway at all) because of it's oil wealth so we will not need free vaccines, we can pay for them, as well as give a little funding for them to be sent to poorer countries.

 

 

 

The space program was not requesting money from you, it is contributing money to an International space program that benefits all countries. Space (for now) should not be for individual countries, but for all mankind. In exchange for giving an International space program funding I was requesting that a Norwegian be given command of the first few International space program's flights. The crew would consist of all contributors, and all other countries would still get the benefits of knowledge even if they can't fund.

 

 

 

All this can be accomplished by just using a little bit more of the oil fund, which is huge. I picked Norway for a reason, and that reason is it is rich as hell :D .

Ok, seeing as I have nothing else to do, I added stuff up from wikipedia, plus adding or subtracting a bit based on what we've done.

 

The SAR's GDP is 2,625,166,000,000 (2.6 trillion) which doesn't put it in the top 5 even, so I wouldn't say we're overpowered just yet.

 

Our military size is now 4.1 million, including reserve. Fit for military service is around 240 million I'd guess. This makes us the 4th largest military in the world (not taking into account anything other people have done on this thread, since they haven't posted numbers)

 

There are now 300 (aprox) million citizens of the SAR.

 

From now on, unless I saw otherwise, my posts are relating the the Brazilian state in the SAR (which, I think is it's own country now, and each of the former countries are now states)

 

 

 

Also, since our alliance with the PRC, we start building facilities in which to construct, and house new tanks and military aircraft. This project creates a lot of both skilled and unskilled, just what Brazil in particular needs, to the number of uneducated people needing work. Since the government reform, in Brazil, the average income for the lower class has almost tripled, and has increased slightly for the middle class, and lowered slightly for the upper class.

Currently most of the country is rainforest and there are many small tribes living throughout the country, but with my task force of 1000 modern people, I have successfully convinced 95% of the 20 million tribal people to join my cause, to build a united country and government, and they are glad to slowly transition into a modern society.

 

 

 

Currently we have some modern farms but we are in short supply of money, so any and all donations are appreciated. Once we have built a stabler economy we will of course pay you back. We are the world's largest exporter of vanilla so we can sell it very cheaply.

 

 

 

Looking towards the future, we hope to be able to start drilling for oil and natural gas to export to our future allies, and we also would like to be a popular tourist site by offering scenery which is seen nowhere else in the world. The conditions of the loan: 1. You use it to drill for oil. 2. You join Nopec in creating an oil cartel to combat OPEC. 3. You hire Petoro to build and operate your oil drilling and refining.

 

 

 

Now this would be an OK deal if you were desperate for a loan. But I am going to make it a great deal. This loan only has to have 90% of it paid back, and there is no interest.

I didn't post numbers because they are small. Currently 23,000 people serve in the Norwegian Armed Forces, with a possibility of 83,000 during full mobilization. There is mandatory 6-12 months of training for all males.

 

What I did with the country was give incentives to increase active personnel up 2%, which is only around 500 people apparently. I will change the mandatory 6-12 months of service for males to only 3 months, but for both genders. This will change my full mobilization abilities but doesn't affect my active personnel.

EDIT: So here is a scenario, I loan you $5billion. You pay that $5b to Petoro to construct everything you need. So now you are back to $0, and owe me $4.5b, but you have oil production facilities. You own the drilling and refining equipment as well as all the oil you get. This can be a 18 year loan, so you would only have to pay back $250 million a year.

Of course if you want to join that would be great, but the point of it is for countries that rely on oil exportation to get ready for when the oil runs out. Basically the Nopec cartel will gradually increase oil prices all the time. Right now people need oil. When they see our gradual increase in prices they will have no choice but to purchase it at a higher price, for now. So for the next few years at least we will be making tons of money more than we already make. However, all oil dependent countries are going to see the price increases and look for alternate fuel sources, hopefully more environmentally friendly. So when those come along demand will start to fall, and we will be making less than we could of with market set prices dragging out oil demand for much longer.

 

 

 

Now the idea is with the increased revenue now is to invest in something other than oil for the future. Since you just invested in oil, it wouldn't be wise to help run the market into the ground. Right now only Norway and Russia are part of Nopec.
