The SAR is still allied with china so we'll remain neutral to your alliance for now. Now you guys need to think of a catchy name or abbreviation. For now I'd say the following are world superpowers:

whatever the asians decide to call themselves

 

and the US/Canada (who will probably ally with eachother. and if not, than just the US)

 

 

 

 

 

The EC isn't a superpower yet, due to the fact it's only a few smaller nations, but soon I imagine it will be.

Hmm, as the ruler of China, I think I may want to ally with Japan to assure I wouldn't get blown away by the newly rising forces, plus it's helpful to have another Asian country nearby. Although being an ally with SAR still gives me confidence.

 

 

 

I agree completely. With my technology and economy coupled with your considerable human resources, our alliance would be incredibly strong. If Russia were to join us too, then we would be free to control Asia as is our right.

 

Then I would like to alliance with Japan. I already have a couple alliances, I hope 3 isn't too many. If I want another alliance I'll probably consider dropping another country I have allianced. I think we need to focus on gaining alliance with Russia and creating some sort of Asian superforce. But only if necessary to defend from the other forces.

The rest of the European leaders are asleep so we'll get them in tommorow. So far we've got Italy, Spain, and Luxembourg. Might as well get Portugal and Vatican in there as well.

Why don't we roll with the Imperial Asian Coalition? IAC isn't a bad acronym, and I like the idea of our governments working together as a coalition does - setting aside our differences for the greater good.

That would have been one of my next choices after brazil. Maybe, to avoid the unfortunate abbreviation of SAC try SAL south asian league, or maybe SAN, south asian nations, or USAN, United South Asian Nations. I like how that last one sounds.

you act as if we are hostile just because we are in an alliance. if the alliance with canada goes through, i personally don't plan to be violent against anyone, unless they show aggression towards me first. even if i'm not allied with anyone, i'm not gonna be an aggressor. too much work.

 

 

 

on a side note, a team of researchers were attacked by their chimpanzee test subjects. the researchers were researching computer chips that allowed thoughts to be communicated wirelessly from person to person, animal to animal, etc. our only guess right now is the chimpanzees formed some sort of revolt via telepathic planning. all further research into this project has been halted.

Brazil update. We've produced the first of the t96 tanks, and over a dozen t99a3's have been made in the past several months. In that same time, most of our air force has been maintained, and the obsolete planes have been converted into trainer planes. We are starting production on Chinese jh-11 and su-30 jets. Brazil has passed all the information for constructing the tanks onto the other states of SAR. We are negotiating with Venezuela so that in the future they may join us.

 

Poverty rates have dropped down to 10%, and that is expected to lower even further within the year. The unemployment rate is very low now, as well. We are starting increasing our naval capabilities as well (mostly for trading, very little is going into military purposes)

I don't remember what you wrote, but in order to claim a country (as of a post by the OP on some page) you need to post a plan for the country that isn't just something like "I'll improve the economy and make fair jobs"

Yeah, I'm up for breaking up the SAR. Although I was wondering if Nick would be willing to take the central portion. I have some different ideas about where I'm taking Argentina. I'm up for defensive pacts and trade agreements, but currently a lot of Argentine cash is being taken outside of the actual nation. I'm going to stop my arms buildup, and cut my standing personnel to no more than 200,000 men and women. The defense budget will be mainly promoting the Navy, especially developing our merchant ships. There is much fishery potential left untapped off of Tierra del Fuego, as well as water.

 

 

 

Anyways, to continue with Nick, I'll entice you by offering you Chile, as well as total use of all highways and rails connecting the Pacific to the Atlantic.

In regards with Russian alliance, I will agree as so long if no one of the countries in the group takes total power as being the "best one" and that in the even of war due to a western country against one of our countries, we will help our own.

oh, ok then....

 

im going to give more incentives to join the army, and pump alot of money into weapons R&D to make the country into a much larger playing in world events. then slowly expand my territory into other nearby islands (such as maybe indonesia) by force.

 

 

 

will also develop nukes for the country and with coordinated similtaneous launches, wipe entire cities, if not small nations, off the map.

1. I shall start exporting more agriculture and of course workers, to whoever is willing to pay highest. Only 1 country shall get that honor. MUAHAHAHA

4. I plan to start an alliance, preferably with a country that enjoys diamonds, and lots of cannon fodder. Troops must preferably be 20 years of age at least.

 

5. I'm going to make a castle. OUT OF GOLD. Gives me bragging rights.

 

6. Use big army of cheap soldiers to kick the rulers out of Madagascar. <- IMPLAUSIBLE (No violence?)
