Latinoking
So it seems that several people here think that the oil is gone. I'll like to correct you and say maybe your oil is gone. Not mine. ;) Latino, I don't think this argument will really get anywhere, Nope, I believe this argument will indeed get us somewhere. We're suppose to be realistic, aren't we? We're just going to accept that some people can run the spaceships on fake fuel now? Or to throw an example: that you can produce massive amount of spaceships without having repercussions...just because you oil on reserve. Considering I had already said that the percentage was wrong, since it was based on real life projections and numbers, and you didn't really get my point with my last post. And I was pointing out how you were throwing Wikipedia links to 2009 or earlier information Oh I understood your point clearly. I'll clarify, myself. Yes, the former leaders might of done something differently with the oil or to even obtain oil, but it doesn't matter now. This is not 2009. We're the leaders of this world. One of the things differently that I've done is that I've only sold oil to one nation. What have other people doing with their oil in this game? Different projects. Programs. Etc. HOWEVER, the people in the countries stayed the same. Did they not, unless we said a change happen? So you're going to tell me that now that the people in your countries doesn't consume that much oil, now? That in months, they changed their habit of how much oil they consume? There's only like 3 major oil suppliers now. Russia (who I think only sells to Europa), Aether (don't know how much they have left considering the mass production of exo-suits and drones), and Me (who still has plenty.) I refuse to believe you're going to a lot of oil left Doom. Selling those spaceships for money doesn't automatically just get you oil. Sure you might have money, but do you have an oil supplier who still has a lot of oil? I am Teh_King[My dA][My Last.FM][My Twitter]

Latinoking
people have MASSIVE space projects. I'm going to go out on a limp and say some people "had" Massive Space Projects/Programs. South Africa in that case. Welcome. You're going to have to write a brief summary of what you going to do with that nation. Then afterwards talk to the leader of the Brazilian Empire to work out an agreement to obtain that land. walka92
i propose, that for the sake of the game and allowing more people to join in, we bypass (for this circumstance only) the laws of physics and allow instantaneous movement between a few planets, by use of telportation "gates" so that we have more land but we dont need to spend ages going back and forwards. these "gates" will be located on earth, the planet i am currently sending a ship to, and hopefully, the other planet that was discovered (forgot who by). couldnt really hurt, right? currently there is pretty much no room for new people and the game is kinda stagnating. Latinoking
As, I've determine that those who haven't used their oil wisely are close to running out. I expect to see several of these signs will to be posted in several countries in the up coming months. This will hinder some countries such as their production of their stuff, military programs, and how their people go about their every day business. I will try to work with the NWO somehow. As for Brazil (almost of out of oil if the space program continues) and Eurasian Alliance. We'll see. Doom, I prefer you not ignore my post. viewtopic.php?p=6934533#p6934533 I am Teh_King[My dA][My Last.FM][My Twitter]

Seraphi
Doom, a while back you mentioned researching another method of faster than light travel. Mind telling us all what that is? Some side notes: My computer storage systems are getting larger and larger, it may soon be possible to wire a human up to a computer. Stone, I would like to propose that you join the NWO. Latino, I don't use oil anymore. I have four giant solar panels orbiting the sun, which provide me with plenty of energy. Anything that the energy from those can't be used in is nuclear powered. Harvester ships (Caerus I and Caerus II) are finished, and are going back and fourth between the asteroid belt and Elysium to deliver supplies of minerals. I'm low on spending money, so no more hypertech for now.
Nero
Only thing I use oil for is military ops, cars, and spaceship launches (which I don't do anymore since I have a space shipyard). Although two things are wrong, they don't bypass the laws of physics, they use stable wormholes(yes wormholes exists but in nature as biproducts of black holes.), and they're near instantanious, travel takes 3,6 seconds. And maybe add more of the network than what is currently explored by you. Would make room for more players without you others traveling there by ship. Wormholes don't exist, or there is no proof of them. It's a theory, and more of a "what if" theory than a theory backed up by fact. I'll find the link to the ftl thing in a bit. Latino, I have the US, which because the infrastructure was destroyed will have a lot more oil left than not. Venezuela and Norway sell me oil as well. I never said I stopped using oil altogether. Our use has been greatly diminished by advances in solar and nuclear power. We also have some parts of Canada, another producer. So saying I have no one selling me oil is kind of stupid. Wormholes exist, stable however must be man-made. I calculated that, knowing that for a wormhole to exist there must be created a "barrier" of elektrons moving at the speed of light, at which point they will shimmer blue(just look at the pic at wikipedia), and some sort of gas or liquid to keep it stable at both ends, that would be created using lasers to ionize the air inside the portal.
