Great_one
what really grinds my gears is that they say that we can't expect them to update every week and how hard it is for them. i understand that it is hard to produce the updates, but last year alone they only took 2 weeks without updates, yet this year just count how many they have taken and comare it to the updates of the weeks after. I doubt Jagex would release RuneScape for the 360 if there was enough lag to hinder performance. Unless, of course, they only intend it to be used for simpler activities - though if that's the case I imagine it will be more due to issues with the controls. Toad
The Advantages of Runescape on a console are you don't have to worry about peoples specs, you can build it for the exact specifications without worrying people can't run it, I would enjoy Runescape on my 360 but my friendslist on xbox live will be real small hehe

Tim
29) Timmy7072 asks; I hear rumours of a "Name Changing System" can this be confirmed? If so, how would such a system work? Yes, we are planning to release a new display name system shortly. This will essentially allow you to change your in-game display name to be different from your login name. OH! GOD! YES!!! I can finally rid myself of this terrible name and numbers!! \ Popoto.~<

Really hope the names you have now will always be free to use, for say, 3 months or something then its available to other players, that way also if people prefer their old name they can go back, It's nice they're allowing longer names, so you can be more original though!
Tim
Somehow, I can assume Runescape would be on the Wii. Wireless Cursor technology somehow seems to have that advantage compaired to that err...thing that Microsoft developed. though for some reason it looks like microsoft's getting desperate. the Avatar's you make were made well before on the Wii and Wireless system too. :| Popoto.~<

Zepheras
28) Infota asks; Don't you think that you should find out what players think about updates using polls before releasing them? I think this would therefore cut down on the aftershock of the RuneScape community. Thanks. The only way to find out what players think about new content is to actually show it to them. We could do all new content as a beta first, but then you have the problem of some people loving it and others not. Then what do you do? Do you say if more than 51% like it, keep it? We find that it is typically only the players that dont like something that respond - the rest of the community just enjoy the content and say nothing. If you look at the Rants feedback, it is typically less than 0.5% of the total players that respond to an apparently unpopular update. Does that mean the other 99.5% like it and it should stay? We would never knowingly create new content that we knew would be unpopular. Our developers want all their work to be appreciated by the community and to enhance the game for all. I think this one matters the most in the whole Q&A session. This should be posted in the frontpage permanently, to inform people that just because they don't like the new abyssal whip graphics, or the new dance emote, doesn't mean that every player and their dogs in the game hates it, and then start damanding the reversal of the update. deathdrow
6) Pur35 Ownage asks; Would there ever be a console version on RuneScape like for xbox360 + PS3, i think that they would be a great success if you could get the controls right, but they would have to speak not type which is much better. Yes, indeed, we are looking at all the consoles at the moment and deciding which one or two are best for our community. For cereal? :|
Kirderf123
17) Sadiyq1 asks; Hello Mod MMG I would like to know what action is going to be done about Merchanting Clans. I am mainly posting because all thanks so merch clans they have sent the prices for items flying high and its unfair for people who make money by earning it on RuneScape, they just have to work a lot harder while other people who merch and make money for not really earning are able to afford this. Do you see how this is affecting peoples gameplay especially new members? It would mean a lot to me if you read this post and replied. A) I see merchanting clans as pyramid selling schemes, where, typically, only a handful of players actually make any money and everyone else loses money just like real-life pyramid schemes. Because of this, we are not in favour of them in RuneScape, and try to warn players not to participate in them. So jagex are perfectly fine with merch clans? :? 99 Woodcutting 09/12/08 - 99 Cooking 13/01/09 - 99 Fletching 20/04/09 - 2,713th to 99 Construction 14/09/09[hide=Quote]New summon monster. You get 99 summon and complete a hard quest to gain the ability to summon Jesus, who splits the waters allowing you to walk to a new port town where you unlock the sailing skill. Obviously ;) That was Moses you idiot. That gets fixed in the bugfix the following week. Maybe.[/hide]

There isn't a great deal they can do ultimately the leaders profit everyone else doesn't, theres no "get rich quick" scheme, no lose 150 pounds in a week diets, people just buy into it to try and get it easy. Problem is there are young players out there who are gullible enough to believe it, you say jump they say how high? I have tryed one merch with a merch clan, I lost ~45M that was with friends, a friend dumped early trust noone. Most leaders are corrupt not naming people let's say a certain "Player" 018 has profited greatly from merchant clans, made what, 12 piles of max cash rediculous. Jagex can't stop it every world clan chat's are spammed at the Grand Exchange. Players always find a way, whether its 26king, house luring, wildy luring, scamming, hacking some players will do what they can to get ahead, the latest scam is Merchant Clans. Me_Hate_Libs
I just noticed something. MMG said that adamantite is the name of the ore, but the name of the metal/armor is adamant, yet in the in-game skill guide for smithing, the adamant tab is labeled "adamantite." Might want to fix that. Maybe they can make it the next upgrade then take a week off afterward? This website and its contents are copyright © 1999 - 2010 Jagex Ltd. TidusUK
i'd like to see a 100m or 200m total exp world(s) (mostly just so i could train things like mining with less competition for spots) but that will never happen in my lifetime  couple of interesting questions/answers like the name change thing, the exp worlds, and 1 or two others, 90% of them were pretty worthless questions as usual. Plus with the previous standard set for f2pers on the forums being eligible based on their exp totals, this would be most likely. Though a 2000+ skill total world would be cool.
