Hand to hand combat involves you "Unloading a string of different (and often brutal) attacks on stunned enemies." - The scale is supposed to be "bigger this time." - The Jetpacks are "surprisingly lightweight and agile, Killzone 3's jetpack is easier to maneuver compared to the sluggish incarnations of the gadget found in other games." - New weapon called the Wasp, basically shoots a "flurry of rockets" at an enemy. - Will show off the Helgjast culture. - There is actually a Helghast language, which will be explored in the game. - Will have "diverse locales." - Have to sit in the center of the 3D tv for the 3D effects to work. - 3D in this game is called a "Game Changer." - Going to have "Intense Action" - Jetpacks double as a weapon, which basically means a machine gun mounted right on top of it. - If you shoot Helghast with jetpacks, they'll "explode like roman candles" - To control the jetpack, you "have to activate bursts of speed in midair, propelling yourself across further distances." - The Jetpack resembles something you'd do in platformers such as Super Mario Bros. There are only 2 variants you can really buy now, the 120GB slim and the 250GB slim. I'd say buy the 120GB slim, the 250 one isn't that much more but I'm doing fine with the old 40GB model, and if it gets to be a problem you can buy your own hard drive and install it pretty easily. 2. All models can play PS1 discs, but only the old 60GB models can play PS2 games, and they're expensive now and have hardware problems anyway. Keep your PS2, you'll get sod all cash for it anyway. 3. A headset if you want to talk online, mainly if you know people IRL that have one. One of the problems of PSN is that hardly anyone has a headset. GAMES I OWN AS OF NOW: Red Dead Redemption-One of my favorite games of all time and favorite games of the year.Dragon Age Origins-My favorite RPG, ever. Fallout 3 GOTY- I've had this for months but haven't played it much. MGS 4- Beat it twice. Love it.Little Big Planet GOTY-It's alright, I find it enjoyable inbetween violent online sessions. Rid[bleep]: Escape From Dark Athena- Meh, it's pretty good, but has quite a few problems. Saints Row 2- I usually consider this my favorite game ever, but it's on again off again. He keeps telling me he's gonna steal my job at the school newspaper as video game writer because I am a failure as a critic and reviewer for being biased toward the Xbox and the PS3.Because apparently by critiquing the Wii I am not being a good critic. I hate fanboys of game consoles. Wii ones are annoying because they come up with no good arguments to defend their console. PS3 vs. Xbox360 ones always turn into the war of the cussers. I consider myself more a Sony fanboy, just because they have never let me down and I can depend on them. I do like the Xbox360 though, but they are just too undependable.
