Wheels
Jagex humor + spoof on pvp worlds. :P Made me laugh. [hide=big pic][/hide] They should have used "you're" instead of "your" in the 2nd column, 6th chat box. I'm not big on grammatical correctness, but your vs. you're just bugs the [cabbage] out of me. :geek: Are you winning The Game?
brunokiller
5 years to make a quest and it's 1 hour long. Still, I liked it but too bad there weren't any new items/monsters/useful area's. My blog
Carl
The crack of a whip cuts the CEO's head off? Clearly you know nothing about weaponry and/or human anatomy. Nor does he know that Mmg wasn't the CEO a year ago. Geoff Iddison was. RIP Michaelangelopolous

Furthermore, there's nothing saying they don't have the next step of this quest arc under way and during its conception they realized they needed another quest to smooth over gaps/plotholes/etc. They've been doing that a lot recently considering the age of some of the storylines and how things have evolved as a whole. TBH, it's definitely welcome to a player like me, who has a short term memory at best and a long playing history.

Death
Warning to people still doing the quest. [hide=Minor Spoiler]HELP THE GNOME BEFORE YOU FINISH. You can't help him after the quest is done. -.- I assumed I could do it after, but no...I should have listened to the elf. Did anyone help out the gnome before they finished by the way?[/hide] I liked the quest myself, fun puzzles. Shelby_Polo
You know what Jagex should do is, have two updates in one week. The easy "pump you up" quest is released Tuesday and then the big quest comes that solves (just about) everything comes out Wednesday. My reason being, this quest pumped me up big time, I really want to solve the Dark Lord/Prifddinas problem; but in the back of my head, I know it's going to be months before they come out with another Elf quest; by that time, the 'pump' of the quest will wear off. QueenValerie
I did not save the gnome nor did I talk to the head mourner until after I talked to the gnome which of course was after the quest. The gnome warned me that he would " remember this mark his word ". Yeah, like I'm scared now. :ohnoes: Pretty good quest the light beams are little tricky, but proud I did the whole quest wihtout a guide. :^_^: Did they always have the 2 cleaning guys in the mourner place? Who is Mandrith? I heard he was in Edgeville bank on a bounty world. I dunno if that means anything I am a bit confused now.

Toad
Talked to the Gnome after quest I asked him and talked to head mourner and didnt go back until after completion. Basically he said he overheard the head mourner contemplating his release, and he's glad he didnt misplace his trust. And I replied saying I hope he gets released soon, he said all you can eat toad crunchies here he comes. Sad he's held captive and all he can think about is toad cookies. Aneron
An interesting quest. I wonder if there's any significance to the fact that when you mention the gnome, Arianwyn asks if he can be trusted, and when you talk about how you tried to save him, Arianwyn says he hopes you didn't waste too much time. He also seemed pretty eager for the character to do all of the dangerous stuff. Could just be me, but meh. Also, I don't understand why exactly the elven mages ungrew their whole city. bmnp
The exp bit annoyed me. The 35k put me in "have no choice but to level it" range for agility. I hate agility, so spent 3 hours getting the 55k for 78 agility. lol I can actually stand being close to a level without getting it. I'm 533xp from 65 mining, 595xp from 67 crafting, and 33xp from 61 construction. The mining and crafting have been that close for weeks.
Rien
Also, I don't understand why exactly the elven mages ungrew their whole city.My understanding is that, with trouble brewing in their eastern settlements, the elder elves felt they had to retreat underground or be caught up in future wars and perish. Therefore, they decided to revert Prifddinas to crystal seed, hide in the undercity, and wait for a more promising time to emerge and "regrow" Prifddinas. The fact that we repaired the seals within the Temple of Light during Mourning's End Pt2 was the sign they were looking for, apparently, so they sent a messenger aboveground for information. With this latest quest, we've discovered the messenger's corpse (who, unfortunately, never made it to the surface), so I suspect that the next quest in the series will involve us establishing contact between Lletya and the elf clans in the undercity. The quest following this next one, I assume, will be the grandmaster "MEP3" quest everyone's been looking forward to. Off-Topic: Does anyone know what this patch note refers to? * Modified crossbows have a string on their inventory image. Interested in helping the Tip.It Crew? Ravenkana
Though I haven't done it, based on descriptions this does not sound like a particularly challenging, long, or rewarding quest. I think the reason for the overwhelming positive reactions by players is a result of waiting for news of Priffindis for years- not because of the merits of the actual quest. And that's bad because...?Because its silly. If something can't stand on its own, players, and people, shouldn't prop it up just because they waited so long for it. If the CORPORAL beast is this hard, imagine how hard a GENERAL or COLONEL beast would be. a corporal is not even an admirable rank in armies that use that ranking system. Yeah, it is a pking minigame, so any arguments anybody makes will probably be biased. The best way this will end :Everybody just says,"I'm not arguing with you anymore, goodbye."The worst way this will end: I don't really know, psychological warfare? Worldwide thermonuclear war? Pie eating contest?
